Dan: I love this controller!! Works great for all my VC games! BUT... it is not without it's cons either.

First of all what I like about this controller is:

1. Battery life. Although the wii pro controller is not truly wireless, because it needs to be plugged into the wiimote to work,
it actually uses very little battery life. This is probably due to the fact that there is no rumble function which I don't consider a draw back since most VC games other than a few N64 titles, don't use a rumble feature anyways. My battery usually lasts about a week
averaging maybe an hour or more of game play a night.

2. The feel of the face buttons is amazing! Very responsive, comfortable on the thumb, and sharp looking too. Nintendo should of had this controller since the launch of the wii!

3. Personally I don't like the octagon around the the thumb sticks, but I will still give the controller a point for them anyways. They are very comfortable, have a nice grip and over all are on par with Playstation and Xbox in my opinion.

John Smith: If you're just trying to evaluate whether you should get this controller or another one of the "Classic" models for the Wii then let me go ahead and recommend this one before I get on my soapbox. For games that support it the Classic Controller works much better than the default Wii remote + nunchuck combination that comes bundled with the console, and Nintendo has apparently got an exclusivity deal with the only companies in China who can do "glossy" plastic properly. From a value perspective I have a lot less of a problem with the MSRP for being $20 than I do with the fact that Wii Remote Pluses are $40 and Nunchucks are $20 as well. I personally got mine for $15 from a seller on here who had plucked one from a bundle (which bundle I have no clue) and marked it as "used - like new," but if you have one of the older/original Wii models that can use a GameCube controller I would recommend going that route if only because you can actually plug it into the system. On the other hand I actually like this controller more than the (funky from the get-go) GCN one, so if you don't mind the fact that you've got to anchor it to the battery powered Wii remote then by all means proceed down...

Toadster: Mit der Wii kam auch eine neue Generation zum Steuern der Spiele auf den Markt, aber diese ist nicht für alle Spiele sinnvoll.
Auch ist es mit der Wii möglich mittels Virtual Console möglich alte Spiele nochmals zu erleben.
Aus diesem Grund ist der Classic Controller erschienen. Allerdings ließ dieser beim Handling noch viele Wünsche offen.

Aber dieser Missstand wurde nun behoben! Der Classic Controller Pro macht alles das richtig was der Classic Controller falsch machte und ist somit anstatt einer Alternative eher als einzig sinnvoller Ersatz zu sehen.

Die Verarbeitung:

Die Verarbeitung ist Nintendo-typisch durchweg hochwertig und fügt sich gut in das Gesamtbild der Wii ein. Die Toleranzen scheinen gering zu sein und keine der Tasten klemmt oder macht sich anderweitig negativ bemerkbar.

Die Tasten:

Die Tasten haben sich im Vergleich zum Classic Controller nicht verändert. Lediglich die Schultertasten wurden versetzt angebracht um den neuen "Griffen" gerecht zu werden. Jeffrey Mejia: I gave this controller a 5 star rating because when you don't compare it to other controllers it's a really decent controller. Although this controller feels really comfortable when you hold it, it's a bit difficult to get used to when you've played on the GCN Controller for so long. Especially when you are playing SSBB, you have to reach upward diagonally for the (x)/(y) button ( which delays a few milliseconds and leaves you open for an incoming object/attack). While on the GCN Controller you could click ( x ) towards the right when you needed to react quickly. However, this is not a review about the GCN controller.

I never owned the original CC since I did not have the money at the time to purchase it. Neither did I have in mind to purchase it because I did not see any use for it until later on. That's when I started purchasing virtual console games and then that's when I realized that the GCN controller did not play well with Super Mario World.
