I really liked this product, makes it easy to use and purée my babies food. I was a little confused at first how to blend but after reading the instructions it was clear. Be ware the first time you blend it can startle you, I got a little scared haha. I steamed and blended baby carrots and it was so easy and the consistency was perfect with the suggested water to oz ratio. I can’t wait to make more food on this. The clean up was super fast and easy because the bottom in twists to clean. I highly recommend this to mommas looking for a quick way to get all food mixed in one and can save in containers for more days.

We purchased this for our 5 month old daughter to make our own baby food at home. It is extremely easy to use! We tried sweet potato first. Peeled the potato, cut it into small chunks and placed it in the steaming basket. We followed the recommended steaming time for potato’s in the manual. 22 minutes later the potato was perfectly steamed and ready to blend. Contents are very hot so let cool a little before handling the steam basket. After blending the sweet potato we added a little purified water to make it less thick for baby girl. So easy to clean as well! Can’t wait to make more homemade food for our little one!

I was so excited to try this product out. Today, I finally used it to make my very first batch of baby food for my son. I chopped up some carrots, put it in the basket and it steamed it for 30 minutes. After which, I blended the carrots into a puree. I was so shocked at how strong the motor was! This was definitely a pleasant surprise.
Overall, I'm very pleased with the Whale's Love Baby Food Maker. It was so easy to use and cleanup was a breeze. I love the spatula that comes with it. Very useful. Will definitely recommend this product to anyone who make their own baby food. So excited to try other food combinations in the future!

I originally did not think I needed a baby food processor. After spending hours roasting or steaming veggies and then trying to blend them in a regular blender I decided I needed a baby food processor. After a quick search this brand was rated one of the highest and it definitely does not disappoint! Instead of spending hours I am now spending minutes. I love the steam/blend function it saves so much time and I can basically set it and forget it for a bit and as a new mom this is very helpful! The regular blending feature works great as well. The bottle warming section is an added bonus also! The only downside is I wish it came with a recipe book or more items listed in the directions so I know exactly how much water to put in the tank for different vegetables and fruits if I am doing the steam/blend function. But after a little more time I am sure I will be able to figure it out. Overall, I love this product. It is very easy to use and saves me a lot of time and I am able to provide my son with fresh food!

Thanks to the manufacturer's response, we were able to fix our problem and now just cooked the first batch of baby food using the Whale's Love in weeks.
Original review: "Kill-happy “Auto-Shut Off” feature renders it useless
Great for basic work, but stopped working after 2 months.
We hit the point where it starts with a 25-minute timer, then 2 minutes in it shuts off. There’s plenty of water remaining, so why isn’t it working?
Did we just get a defective version?"
