Anon: These really work and are very convenient. But you can buy the same stuff as raw ingredients much more cheaply if you don’t mind cutting it to shape yourself. So you’re paying for convenience mostly.

Liz: I purchased this product to keep in my toolkit as my business premises has old crumbling brick. I was surprised to find the light drip tray below my hand gel dispenser had come away from the wall. Rather than using Polyfilla, and waiting a day for it to dry, this took 8 minutes. As I was lazy, I just cut off the excess so no sanding and it looks perfect and is solid. I now have the confidence to use it for a couple of jobs around the house (hand rail, toilet roll holder) that are holding poorly on our plasterboard walls despite having the correct fixings. Highly recommended.

Tony Placanica: The WETNFIX discs have been an absolute lifesaver for my loose wall fixtures. I was skeptical at first, but these little wonders exceeded all expectations! The ease of use is impressive - simply insert and twist, and my curtain rails are now as secure as can be. No more worrying about them coming loose or causing damage. This pack of 20 discs is a treasure trove for any DIY enthusiast. WETNFIX has truly revolutionized my home maintenance. I can't recommend them enough!

Missus AMissus A: I had some curtain tie backs but the screws had started pulling away from the wall so they were moving and sagging. In the past I have had to fill the holes and refill to resolve this issue, but when I was looking for filler I came across this product and thought it was worth a try. It came in a small card packet, and the discs themselves are sealed in 2 plastic bags inside. I followed the instructions and dipped the circle in a cup of water, wrapped it around the plug and put it into the hole (it was a little messy as it dripped a bit down the wall as it was squeezed into the hole) so good idea to have a tissue on hand to clean up as you go. I left it for 5 minutes then put the screw back in, and let me tell you, I was amazed at how strong it is! I dont think it ever felt this secure when they were first hung! Super simple, quick, no drilling needed, I will definitely be keeping a stock of these in my tool box in the future.

Tabitha: We rent a crumbly house and aren't going to pay money into fixing all the little quirks. But neither will our landlord. Studs aren't to code and drywall is done poorly and cheaply so ANYTHING screwed into the wall will tear itself out. I have tried a couple solutions but this is by far the EASIEST and longest lasting so far. Besides reinforcing everything, with extra studs and brackets, this has got to be the next best thing. I used it on our toilet paper roll, some heavy wall decor, small cabinets, fixtures and curtain rods. It's such a solid fix and so easy I'm actually looking for more things to fix! This has become a staple in my toolbox.

Lochnessa54: The bathroom in the 50 to 60 years old I live in has half inch walls around the bathtub. The screws became very loose and wouldn't hold the pole up. The wall was very crumbly around the screws. I had tried to use super glue to fix the problem...WRONG MOVE! I just made a terrible mess. I found out about the wall anchors, but I needed something to keep the wall anchors in place. I saw the WETNFIX (20 Discs) which is designed specifically for loose wall fixtures -such as curtain railings, shower curtain rods, shelves etc. All you have to do is wet the disc, shake excess water, then mold the open weave disc around the wall anchor. Once you screw the wall anchor in, all you have to do is screw the rod in, and you're done!
I used the WETNFIX (20 Discs) and it made for a more secure fixture. It only took a few minutes and, I recommend this item for do-it-yourselfers.♥

CC: I was putting up a shelf system, and I was using those screw-type anchors that break open at the end. I got too aggressive with one and stripped the drywall out when screwing it in (Don't use a drill for this, just a manual screwdriver is what I've learned. And be careful around metal studs.) I wrapped two of these around a new anchor and after an hour tried to screw in a screw again.
I think it was both too early and too much pressure to break open the anchor so it failed. I got a new one, broke open the anchor first, snipped a little hole in the center of each cloth (so the screw could come through them without disturbing them), wrapped it in two more of these cloths, and let it set overnight. It was solid as a rock the next morning as I screwed in the new screw. I even had to screw in the screw twice because I installed the bracket upside-down, and it was solid both times.
So, let it really, really set if you're using a screw-type anchor and you're at all concerned about getting it to work.
Also, it was a LITTLE messy, but not overly. Once I screwed it in with the cloths wrapped around it, I just wiped up the wall where it dripped a bit, and it looked like...

David Genrich: A towel rack pulled away from the wall. The anchor pulled out, it was a LARGE hole. I watch a YouTube video that compared many approaches to fix this type of issue and this product won out. I was still skeptical, but decided to give it a try. I had to wrap 5 of the cloths around the anchor (again, large hole). At this point, I was still skeptical - the hole was big. I waited a few hours, tested it with just the screw - held strong. I put the towel rack back up, tighten the screw into the patched anchor - seems to be holding strong. I am impressed.
