Westshell 1 Key Wireless Guitar System - Transmitter & Receiver

F. Hankic: This was my first wireless system and was more of an experiment for me than anything else. Using it was a pleasant surprise, as it exceeded by expectations.
I used it inside my home and I've also used it outdoors. It worked well in both situations, allowing me to move around freely and farther away from the amplifier than I would be able to do with a cable. I can go the the next room without loosing the signal. I did not test how far the signal can reach, but it is enough for my use case.
Battery life is great. I did not do any tests to measure exactly how long it the battery lasts, but it is definitely a few hours. Receiver seems to last longer than the transmitter.

The only negative I have about the product is that it doesn't have a low battery indicator. I has an indicator that shows batter life but only when turning on the device. The only low batter warning you get is when it starts turning itself off.

I would definitely recommend this for home use situations. I can't speak to how it would work in a gigging scenario.

MARIROSE: Bought one and the signal occasionally dropped for a second or so and I returned it. Bought a couple others at higher and higher price points and they all seemed to do the same thing, so I returned the others and went back to this one. The size is very compact compared to others, and there's a battery level indicator instead of just telling me when the battery is low, which are the two features that sold me. I wouldn't gig with this or the others in this price range, but for me sitting around the house practicing, this is a great unit for the cost and if it breaks, then I'll buy another. More color options would be nice tho, not a huge fan of the red and green...

Greg H.: *** Update after playing these things for a while forget about what I said below about no tonal issues. They do have tonal problems. If you swap them out with a cable one after the other so your ears are fresh to what you've been listening to there is noticeable loss of richness in the tone. I have not tried to EQ it yet and don't know if I can but it is there no doubt. So I use these for practice. For the most part you could use them for a show. The audience never knows what they are listening to tonal wise so they would work fine but it might not be what you want to hear. I also purchased a set from another vendor, they are in the same housing but they seem to add what I would describe as a compression effect and less volume. I do not have any professional level i.e. expensive wireless adapters so I can't say what they sound like. Maybe they have the same issues? Who knows.

Love these things I have two sets, one for the input to my pedal board and one for the output to the amp. They work great and have long enough battery life for me. They don't have any tonal problems and fit my Ibanez. The guitar shaped wireless adapters will not fit an Ibanez recessed socket so beware....

Benjamin: I purchased this unit as a backup, and it's beneficial to have a secondary high-quality wireless device that operates on a different frequency than 2.4GHz to avoid the occasional interference issues. However, I noticed that the tonal quality of this unit sounds different compared to my previous experience with Xvive units. I’d recommend setting specific EQ settings on your rig that compliment this into specifically.

Bud I: Nothing but great news to report. This is my fourth attempt at finding an acceptable inexpensive wireless system for my bass. After so many disappointments, I was certainly ready for another one. But I am overjoyed to report that this one is the Real Deal. Dead quiet, no hiss, no hum, no interference, and if there is latency I cannot detect it.

These units are really well made. The one control is a single button that is used for three functions - on/off, channel change, and pilot light (led). Unlike the one this replaces, which has a tiny led pilot light, this light is large making it almost impossible to forget to turn off.

The other thing I really like about it is the 220 degrees of movement, allowing the jack to pivot. I can fold the transmitter flat against the bottom of the bass, so it doesn't accidentally run into anything like the others did. Also, the plug is firmly fitted to the device, so it stays in place. One of the other ones flops around at the slightest touch.

For convenience it came fully charged, which was a nice touch. It is supposed to be good for at least four hours of use, and I shall certainly test that at some point. I haven't tested...
