G. De Ladurantaye: Large Wi-Fi clocks like this can be very expensive. This is the only one I could find under $100. Nice clear display. I had an issue at first because my Wi-Fi password was too long for the device. I contacted support and they sent me an downloadable update to allow for passwords up to 50 characters. Worked like a charm since. The remote is great, too.

Phil: I got this clock to automate a timer on a schedule for my church to help people keep track of time. The clock has a webpage for control. There are webpages for setting the clock time, saved timers, and copy of the remote control. Using some basic software skills and Selenium WebDriver to control it, I was able to automate the timer to start at certain times. It would be great if the clock had this functionality built in but I knew it didn't when buying it. Otherwise, the display is big and bright enough and people have responded positively to seeing the time.

I am removing a star for a few things I found annoying. First is that this has a web page for control but it could have used NTP protocol to automatically update the time on its own. The web page controller allows one time syncs to the web browser/computer. Second is that there is no indicator on the web remote control of the brightness or mute option. It copies the IR remote too well and requires line of sight to check. The web remote shows the display so it would be nice to show the mute and brightness settings. Jawad Khan: I was looking for a large LED clock that had smart features and could be controlled via the internet. The main feature I was looking for was for some sort of countdown function so both my kids would know exactly when their online video gaming time was about to end and the home router was about to shutdown their access, and not have an excuse to whine about never being informed just as they were in the middle of the most important battle to date (every single time) . This clock does exactly that (almost)!

In addition to a large display and several countdown timers, I can control most features via my phone or the physical remote that comes with the clock. The best part is they have a very responsive customer support and development team that are constantly working to expand and improve available features. I was emailed a new software version to install that also duplicates the clock display on your phone so you know exactly what to program or what is being displayed on the real clock without having to look at it in person. JR: I am using this clock/timer as a battery powered remote display for a scoreboard. Out of the box, you can run it with a WIFI Router off a small inverter/battery (with my small WIFI router, they pull 8 Watts combined) and then control it from a web browser on your phone from anywhere you can get a good WIFI signal. Fantastic.

But even better, it is easily fully controlled via Javascript over WIFI. I had to ask customer service for some basic information, but they got back to me via email quickly, answered my questions well, and really want to please. I took a flyer on this, thinking it might or might not do what I want, but it works great! In 1/2 a day I wrote code to integrate it into my existing scoreboard software, so that it is controlled entirely via my existing program.

The only thing I'd change about it is that I'd make it brighter, so that it could be used outdoors. For indoor or evening use outdoors, it's the bomb!
