J. M. B.: I needed a base for a 10 inch cast iron table saw to move it around in the garage. I didn't want to spend a fortune as I knew it wouldn't be used all that often . This base fit the bill for me. It took me a while to understand how the parts go together and it took a couple of tries to assemble it correctly so that the saw legs would fit onto the base and match the hold down bolt holes but once its done that's it forever. The side rails have some flex in them but again for my purposes it's not a problem. The foot locks work well and the heavy saw moves easily over my concrete floor. It will go together easier with racheting wrenches or sockets but could be done with open end wrenches as well.

Old RascalOld Rascal: I have two of the WEN mobile bases in my shop. One under my bandsaw and one under my table saw. Having a smaller shop it's necessary to move the equipment around to best utilize space. I can locate the tools to accommodate whatever my needs are, plus hook-up my 21 ft. flexible 4 inch dust collection hose. I'm not having any issues with the bases but do recommend mounting your power tools on the bases as to where you are "not" pushing your work in the same direction as to where the wheels are pointed. Also the wheel raise and lower pedals will be off to the side out of your way. Set up was easy but it takes a few minutes to assemble with basic tools. For the price these are hard to beat.

Chiguy: I bought two bases for my home shop. One for a Wen bandsaw and one for a old Delta grinder. I have a small work space and being able to move the equipment easily gives me more flexibility in my shop.
I was a bit reluctant to purchase these bases based on some of the reviews/comments however, I was able to get my bases to sit level when the clamp wheels are released. I am not sure why other people say they can't level their bases? Maybe they are installing pieces incorrectly? I do have one caster clamp wheel that is a bit stiff and I need to push down on the frame with my foot after releasing the wheel clamp in order to get it to level off. If both of the clamp wheels on a unit are like this maybe people don't think it can be leveled?
The instructions are terrible and it took me a few attempts to get them assembled correctly for the size of my equipment. On both setups I had to leave the shorter brace out in order to make the base small enough to work with both of my setups. I don't think this is explained in the instructions and I assembled the first base with all of the rails before discovering that I had to remove the shorter rails in one direction in order to get the base...
