Amazon Surfer: EDIT: This blade is very thin so it is easily deflected if the wood has any deformities such as a warp. Could be a dangerous situation if not careful.
Smooth cuts. I bought this to use while my other blades get sharpened. Very thin. Can't say how long it will last. Works very well for the price.

liddletoes: Unlike a recent purchase from a "RED" (major name brand MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE)FROM AMAZON..... this item arrived from Amazon packaged PROPERLY from the manufacturer. It is obvious the carbide teeth are not NEAR as "beefy" as the "RED BRAND".. i will give this a go. For now? 4 stars. It is installed and cutting fine. Time will tell. I think the "Red brand"(my favourite over the years) got a bad rap as I think whoever is shipping/selling is NOT a reputable dealer here? Mine arrived in a bubble-wrap....chipped carbide teeth...scratched...was used...not sue what is going on there!!! Hopefully this one works...it's cheap... we will see! BEWARE if buying "FR**D sawblades here! Something is seriously wrong with those being sold from here(shipping/packaging)

WarmInWinter: The price is great and the blade works fine for most everything. Except I found that cutting thick hardwoods that it was actually a little slower than the carbide blade it replaced. On comparing I realized that this is quite a bit thinner blade than my old blade with more teeth and therefore made more precise cuts, but I was cutting thicker 4x4" hardwoods and needed speed more than thin cuts. Its mostly a mismatch issue - for cutting regular 2x4 soft woods it works fine. Still a good blade. Definitely well priced for what you get.
