The WAYNE WWB WaterBUG 1/6 HP 1350 GPH Submersible Pump with Multi-Flo Technology, Removal Tool, and Yellow color is one of the best Sump Pumps on the market. It is easy to install and use, and provides excellent customer support. Its unique design features a built-in top discharge system, making it perfect for tight spaces where water removal is needed. Additionally, the side discharge is ideal for easy water removal from flat open surfaces. The Multi-flo technology allows for easy selection of the appropriate discharge for the application.Ronald Lambert: Bought this after Hurricane Ida in September of 2021 to pump the standing water out of my basement. Handled the task well. We just had another Ida like rainfall here in the Northeast, and I used it again to clear standing water. I just bought a 2nd unit to have on hand to make the job (next time) go even faster. Highly recomended.

J & A: This pump does a great job moving water!
We have gotten some heavy rains lately and our patio has a wall feature that becomes a pool.
This pump is able to silently pump all that water out quickly down to a very low level (like .25"!!)
This was much less expensive than other options but works great!
The pump has a nice cover to prevent debris from clogging it up, so I am sure it will last for years to come!
I hooked this up to my Wi-Fi plug and have my Wi-Fi camera watching the patio so I can activate it remotely if I ever need to. A fantastic purchase!!

TFitz: I've had a waterbug hanging on my basement wall, with a spare hose, and extension cord, for emergencies. I came home from a trip to find my basement flooding, because the window wells weren't draining properly. I grabbed the waterbug, hose, and extension cord, and proceeded to drain the window wells (it really moved the water quickly, similar to a hose on full blast). I vacuumed up the basement, and due to the volume of rain, I left the waterbug running all night. It really saved my basement. I bought another waterbug, just in case (or to help a neighbor). This really is a must-have, especially with the increasing power of storms.

Lynn HoffmanLynn Hoffman: Overall the Wayne auto bug worked well when it was running. The main issue, after 20mins it shut off and there was still a large amount of standing water. I unplugged for 5mins to reset but it would stop after 5mins.
Called support and it was good to hear an America voice. One reason I bought the product bcz it was made in the USA.
In summary, I may switch to the smaller non-auto off or keep this one if I have time to test it out in my tub.

Sandra: I bought this last spring when there was some unexpected flooding in my yard. I have ended up findung lots of other uses for it. It's easy to use, moves lots of water and it's quiet!!! Which is exactly what I was looking for.

C Mills: Used this to suck the water out of my Portable 11000 litre pool. Was pumping water uphill and this did the trick. Its obviously not going to pump as fast uphill be this product exceeded my expectations. The bottom can be a little sharp so i dropped it in the pool on top of a plastic mat. Worked great. Set it and forget it type of thing. Its quite. Works like all the youtube videos say.
If you need a sump pump. This is great on a budget. Easy to clean as well and 2 ports for a hose

flyboycanada: We purchased this pump in May 2020 and installed it in our pond following all the installation instructions to the letter. However, nothing in the paperwork that comes with the pump mentions that this pump is not for continuous use. It worked fine during the summer of 2020 (3 months in the Northeast). However, it failed less than two months after turning it on in 2021, and less than two months after the warranty ran out.
Here is the manufacturer's answer to our request for warranty repair or parts order:
Thank you for contacting us. This pump cannot be used continuous duty for circulating water in a pond. It is filled with dielectric oil that can damage your wildlife and seep into your ground. Based on the application we cannot warranty the pump. It is a transfer pump not a circulation pump and running it continuous to circulate anything will damage the motor and oil seal. You will need to get a replacement pump and we cannot recommend any of ours for that application or it will void the warranty upon installation.
If you need a pump to empty your rain barrel or a wet floor for a short period, this may be a good choice.

Lawrence J. Gemmel: This is a great little pump at a good price that does exactly what is described. I bought it to deal with an emergency flooding situation in my basement, and it does drain very effectively down to about a centimetre, but I ended up using it frequently to drain water from on top of my swimming pool cover. Note that in this scenario once it is started, you can unplug and allow to siphon instead. Nice long three prong cord, very solid case, with supports to wrap the cord around for easy storage. This is a portable temporary use drainage pump and so you don't need a switch. Best feature is being able to use an ordinary garden hose and it pumps quickly and quietly over at least a 3 metre height. Very pleased to be able to buy this Wayne product through Amazon. Only suggestion I would make is a hook or loop on top to be able to pick up as you should not lift with the cord.
April 2020 update - just used it effectively to pick up water directly from puddles on the lawn after heavy rain and snow melt - works like a charm!

Johnny B. Goode: The media could not be loaded. This little pump is great. I have no major complaints, but here's some observations:
- It emptied a 3000 gallon swim spa in about 4.5 hours. That's not exactly meeting the top spec advertised, but it's not bad, and it can be a combination of hose size or whatever. I used regular garden hose.
- I had to return the first one that arrived as the top release valve had been completely broken off and 2 of the feet were broken as well. The outer yellow shell is pretty hard brittle plastic, so I'd recommend handling with care.
- I'm not sure if 1/16th of an inch is achievable easily - maybe in ideal conditions where the ground is 100% level and flat. I tried pushing water towards the pump, but seems it needs to create a seal first before it's effective, which takes a few seconds, so unless the pushed water stays around the pump for a while, and water doesn't like to be pushed around, it's not going to get pumped out.
Overall, pretty happy with the purchase.

Alan: I find this pump is perfect for those occasions when thunderstorms overwhelm the drain and my basement begins to flood. The only thing that I wish it had is an automatic turn on switch. For now I'll just have to stay on water watch when it rains heavy.
