SpaceCowboy: The product description matches the product in real life. Their are some comfort issues with the headset - Headset is tight and stiff, but this may resolve itself as the headset adjusts overtime. A USB-C to audio head-jack was not included and will need to be purchased. No additional audio cables came packaged. This may be the biggest draw but it's one less cable to add to your collection of unused cables.

L. A. Price: These phones jam my eyeglasses into the side of my head until I cannot take the pain anymore. I bougt the gel ear inserts to mitigate the problem. I decided on the Walker brand so that I can hear my instructor at the firing range. These are excellent ear muffs, though. They do what the are supposed to. Just buy the gel inserts and don't expect to get the color you order. I ordered teal and got what I can only describe as puke green.

debveggie: I used my new headphones today and they were super. I really like the head protection but boy did they kill my ears. I was able to hear my friend on the next bay, however, after of short period of time, my ears were very inflamed. I don’t know if the slims are a problem for my ears. I have generally average ears and my head and body are petite. I read that most folks have no problem with these and the fit. Any suggestions? Should I get the gel ear pads and see if that works. I hate to waste the money and have to buy another pair.

Randy Browning: While suppression is very important, comfort is almost if not more important; hear me out (no pun).
I have a massive gord, and have been a shooter since before my military service. As such, I've never been able to wear a set of OTH ear protection for more than an hour without throwing them around my neck to give a break to my size 7 3/4 melon a rest. Normally the pain starts gradually and increasing to the point of being a distraction in an activity where focus is critical.
I started with these in the house for the better part of the morning, mostly to test how they deal with ambient sounds and passing or handling voices. Pretty good, but few will be perfect while still handling higher dB response.
I believe I put them on between 8:30-9 am, and by 11 we were headed to a tac course where everything up to 50's were active. At no point from 8:30 until we finished with small arms did I take them off (I did not drive). After small arms we did some 3 gun reduction work, and I took them off for the Gunny's instruction. After 3 gun we went straight to clearing, and they were doing well (again, not perfect) with CAR, H&K PDW, shotguns and flash bangs (hate 'em). After 6 hours...
