Stephanie: My husband and I assembled the shelving unit and it took a few hours. It wasn't difficult but there were a lot of steps, and it's kind of easy to get things turned around. We didn't end up attaching the front doors because we need them to be open for the electronics that are in there. It looks great without the doors. It looks really good and I was happy with the price. My husband is never happy to help with furniture assembly, though, so there is that to consider.

dwildwil: We needed a new cabinet for our Family room for under the TV and this was the perfect fit. The build quality is excellent and it took about 1 1/2 hours to assemble the unit. I would suggest opening the box outside, or in your garage, and then carry the individual pieces into the house. Much cleaned and easier to do this than dragging the whole box into the house.
Also, one recommendation when assembling this unit: before you mount the doors, pre-start the small screws for the hinges before trying to mount the doors. Just take your screw driver and turn the screws until they start to go into the wood, then remove them. Also, do not tighten all the screws on the doors until both hinges are installed, then you can align the door one hinge at a time.
This is a great piece of furniture and we are very happy with the look this brings to our home!

Amazon Customer: Looks great and it's pretty decent quality for MDF furniture. I had no problems assembling it solo aside from the doors which were a huge pain to align properly.

Stefanie Menezes: I bought this TV stand because I bought the larger version and it was wonderful. Despite being the exact same product, only smaller, the assembly instructions for this one were completely different and made assembly much more difficult. I wish we had kept the instructions for the larger one and used it to assemble this one. It looks great though!

IdannaIdanna: For the price you pay for this item you really have nothing to complain about. My brother assembled this in 25 minutes using a drill (I wouldn’t recommend trying to do it without one). All of the pieces I received were in good condition, no damage. I will say that it isn’t very durable though. When I placed my TV on it I had to be extremely cautious not to scratch it. However, like I said, for the price - no complaints.

AMZ PROAMZ PRO: Black Friday. Brand new 85” Samsung QLED. Now where to put it?

Typically I don’t wall-mount TV’s. I guess after years of living in apartments I prefer not to drill into walls. I’ve always used stands. So I planned to do the same this time. The tricky part was to find a stand big enough to accommodate a TV this size (and weight). This was the biggest stand I could find (it’s listed as supporting 80” TV’s, 200+lbs) and I liked the simple yet elegant aesthetic with the nice wood grain.

Assembly of furniture like this (TV stands, computer desks etc) is always tedious. Lots of pieces, plenty of screwing and Allen key twisting required. This was one of the easier units I’ve assembled. I did it mostly by myself; my wife tried to help with some steps but ended up getting in the way more than anything. It took about 2 hours total, including a couple of unrelated interruptions. There’s one step where you need some strength to really push in 8 screws while twisting. That was the hardest part. Everything else was pretty simple. There are lots of parts, but they come individually bagged and labeled with letters which makes it very easy to find the piece you need...
