Amazon Customer: We have purchased 3 pairs of these clippers. One of which was an accidental drop which resulted in parts everywhere. We were happy with the initial pair for the first few months so we purchased a replacement. Less than a year into having them we had issues with the clippers holding the charge. We had extra batteries from the initial set so we survived but then they didn't work even with new batteries. We went through the process of sending them to wahl for repair. Received them back in July and now again in November that same pair is not working. While that clipper was out we purchased a second one to have as we always need a set on hand... this pair is 6 months in and doing the same exact thing. Very frustrating. It doesn't feel worth sending them back.

JWA: These days, battery life on rechargeable items is very important. This set comes with 2 batteries, and the recharge time is fast enough that you could use these continuously. The battery life is good as well allowing for trimming of my Schnauzer 4 times before recharging. The trimmer is very well made and quiet. The adjustable head allows for fine tuning those closer cuts. Several attachment heads for longer cuts.

Rachel Straub: Let me start by saying that this thing is a battery GUZZLER! it comes with two batteries and I'm here to tell you that you will need both to even do a small dog. I own two shi-tzu and even though this thing melted through the hair like butter, I was only able to get 75% of my pup done with one battery. That being said I bought these as an upgrade to a pair of cheap AngFang clippers that took me almost 2 hours to cut that same pup and with the Wahls I was done in about 30 min with this set. That is the difference between a 50-dollar pair of clippers and 150. However, when you think about what one or two trips to a goomer will cost this investment will pay for itself after one use. Perhaps there are bigger Miliamp batteries for these that I haven't found so I will look However, the efficacy of the UNIT is amazing and worth the battery oversite for my size pups. My honest opinion is that if you own a Large fur breed like a lab you should look for the same standard of clipper but corded. the battery option will take you a long time since the charge time is 75 min per battery, even with one on the charger you wouldn't finish a large pup in one sitting.

Christian Saurett: The media could not be loaded.  Me gusta mucho para hacerle su despunte a mis perritos, sin embargo al ser varios si se desgasta rápido. No trae herramienta para hacerle limpieza profunda que es lo que desgasta más la maquina, ese es el único punto malo. De lo demás deja un acabado perfecto y le dura bastante la batería con 1 carga puedo recortar el cabello de hasta 3 perritos ( estando nueva). Ahora ya después de un año de uso ya está desgastada y se traba con el pelito a pesar de pasarle el cepillo que trae para limpieza, repito necesita traer herramienta para darle su mantenimiento.

R. Bourne: My 5 year old Shih Tzu got injured during his last grooming session. His tail got cut by “accident” and some sharp “object” - according to his groomer who happens to be the owner with 18+ years experience!

My dog’s tail had to be partially amputated due to deep cut...long and sad time.

He’s fine now and I’m sure he doesn’t even remember what we both went through! However, since then I haven’t been able to force myself to take him to any groomer.

So, I started watching grooming videos on YouTube and learn how to do it myself! Not an easy task, for sure!

Unlike many other reviewers, I did not research ending up with this product. I actually bought more than 10 different brands all made by “usual suspects” with lots of lots colourful pictures of cute dogs and long presentations telling us why theirs are the best!

So, I kept buying one at a time and read their dumb instruction which used google translation to English - you now know who they are!

They all messed things up but me thinking it was me not knowing how to do it. Then, I thought maybe I should’ve ordered another “professional” one instead.
