Sucharita Kamath: The image is crystal clear, and the colors are well retained. It is built sturdily and ideal for bird watching and wildlife watching. The 12x50 is the max one can go to for a handheld binocular. Anything of higher magnification probably needs a tripod or stand. I carry it in the brown soft-case the binocular came with. Only minor grouse is that the lens covers at both ends do not fit well and tend to come off easily and difficult to put them firmly in place.

Ken Dwiggns: These binoculars are super clear with a bright image. Love the 12 power and the wide field of vision provided by 50mm lenses. This replaces my 10 power binos. What a difference. I use them almost exclusively on my boat while fishing. In large bodies of water many objects of interest are a long way off so the 12 power lenses are a big advantage. They are a little pricey, but worth it. It comes with a very comfortable neck strap and a nice carrying case which I personally won't use. I tried the Vortex Razor binoculars which cost $1200. They weren't any better than this Viper model which is half the price.

E. Reilly: Very happy, satisfied with this purchase. My pair of Zeiss Conquest 10x42 was stolen. I needed a replacement pair of binoculars - but was not able to pay $1000 again. I own many VOTRTEX products including spotting scope and 6x32 binos. So I figured I would give this pair a shot. I am very happy. Worth even penny. Probably as clear, sharp as my Zeiss pair that was stolen - in all conditions. It feels a bit heavy - a tad heavy - but that tells me that it is built solid. I highly recommend for birding.

Jose: Tras darle muchas vueltas me quedé con estos 10x42. La nitidez es excelente y, para mi gusto, apenas se aprecia aberración cromática. No son los más luminosos que he probado, pero me parece que es el sacrificio por la nitidez y la poca AC.

Escogí X10 porque frecuento zonas de aves acuáticas y de grandes mamíferos. Si buscas unos prismáticos para bosque o distancias intermedias me quedaría en el 8x42 que me parece que balancea un poco mejor el ángulo de visión y la luminosidad.

Brett: For the last two seasons I’ve been using the Crossfires, and while they’re ok for a starter pair, they aren’t the greatest. Case in point being back in December when a small basket rack showed up at 70 yards. Had a tough time making out a third point to make sure he was legal in Western PA. Didn’t shoot him as I had gotten my buck back in late September.

After having that issue, I wanted to upgrade my binos, and well the Vipers are exactly what I want. Great quality and exceptional detail. I’ve been able to watch some turkeys outside my house, and have had no problems picking out the Jakes and Hens. I look forward to seeing how well they do come archery in the fall.

Client d'Amazon: Je m'attendais à une meilleure précision dans la définition pour des jumelles de cette gamme.
Impression désagréable d'avoir un léger "voile laiteux "(ou "brume" ) à longue distance devant les yeux.
Par comparaison j'ai une meilleure définition avec mes steiner observer 8x42. (gamme soi-disant inférieure)
Je m'attendais aussi à plus de luminosité le soir ou le matin pour cette Vortex 10x50.

RKBGAP: I've had em about a week and, so far, they seem to be exactly what I was expecting. They feel stout, all the mechanisms seem to be tight and the clarity is very good. There might be a slight loss of focus on the outer edge but not enough to bother me and you really have to look for it to find it. As far as chromatic aberration I don't see any or maybe if there is it is so slight that I don't notice it. What I'm trying to say is I can see things very clear and can't see anything that interferes with what I'm looking at. It's that simple. I think in this price range it is a good value. I like the accessories that come with it too. The case is sturdy and well made. The strap is comfortable and well made. The harness is fine too. I probably won't use it much but it's nice to have in case I want to. I can't seem to find anything that would knock off a star.
