Saxon Heathen: I was very excited then I ordered the Vortex Diamondback 12x50.
Sadly they didn't work for me. Even with the two barrels touching the distance between my pupils didn't line up. They meat that I only got a slightly 8 shaped vision. Which is a shame really.
The glass pack is pretty good but the binoculars straps seem a little flimsy. Also I found the focusing knob a little too soft.
Yes, the vision is clear and good.
I had to return them as this pair of binoculars just didn't work for me and bought the Nikon Monarch M5 12x42 instead.

TexasTraveler66: I got these for my husband to be used mostly for bird watching. He loves them! It’s hard to find 12x50, so I was very happy to find these. The holster case is a little overkill for him, but whatever. The lens covers are very handy, much better than his old ones, which wee 4 loose, individual covers. Arrived very quickly and well packed. Overall very happy with this purchase.

Tom: These are very nice binoculars. Fantastic build quality and with a good image. However the minimum IPD is 6.0mm. This what mine is and thought this wouldn’t be an issue. However with the objective lens covers tethered the rubber rings prevented the binoculars from being set to their minimum IPD setting. This means they have to be removed and I wasn’t happy about this. Additionally the image is excellent at shorter distances I found the sharpness to be lacking at longer distances. These two factors meant I had to return them.

Lifelong Tech: 12x50 Diamondback HD is awesome for bird watching, low light use is great as advertised and seeing into and through the shadows is beyond belief. Focus is quick and the FOV is enough to easily find the birds. These replaced a 15 year old Nikon Travelite IV 12x25 which developed double vision, no warranty from Nikon or LL Bean without the sales receipt and original warranty card which I didn't save. The Vortex no-nonsense warranty is there if I ever need it, no registration or receipt required. I also bought a 10x42 Diamondback HD and they are a bit smaller in size which makes them a good fit for my wife. Both pair are just fantastic and almost like looking in 3D. The case is padded and a good size to fit the glasses but I don't see us strapping it to our chest. We just use the strap with the glasses. Lens covers are functional and the flip down object lens is nice to have. A great feature is the adjustable eyecup on the ocular lens that allows you to press them against your eyes to reduce the shake. A top notch pair of binoculars, the best I have ever owned or used and at a price that is affordable.
