Keiko Tsukioka McKeown: It’s light, loud, easy to read, magnets are strong, easy to change out batteries(it comes with batteries too) and pretty straight forward to use apart from it took me a little time to get use to the wheel to change from minutes to seconds. Sometimes I wished there was dedicated buttons for start/stop, reset or a soft button as I have arthritis and the long pressing for reset can hurt on colder days. I hope they make a rechargeable version in the future.

UnknownMe: Für meine über 80jährige Mutter eine tolle Hilfe in der Küche. Zudem ist der Timer sehr schnell eingestellt und gestartet. Auch wird die zuletzt verwendete Zeit beibehalten. Der Alarm ist ausreichend laut und meine Mutter ist schon ein wenig schwerhörig. Das große Display erleichtert das Ablesen selbst bei Dunkelheit. Es ist schön, dass auch an älteren Menschen gedacht wird. Es gibt immer noch genügend, die fast ohne Technik aufgewachsen sind.

James Joyce: The timer is easy to read and easy to use. 4 stars instead of 5 because the magnets on the back aren't perfect (it doesn't stick when only one of the magnets has a metal surface behind it; I often move the timer to the appliance it is timing and sometimes there isn't a large enough metal surface for the included magnets). I fixed this by attaching a bar magnet on the back between the included magnets and this modification makes it perfect for me.

angelsnaps: I didn't know how much I missed a kitchen timer until I bought a new microwave that doesn't have one. This is so easy. It has large numbers and it's loud enough sound to hear from another room. I especially like that it's magnetic and is on the side of the fridge and not cluttering counter space.

My Own AMZNMy Own AMZN: I bought this digital timer after a mechanical one that I I own and love just stopped ringing after a couple of years. After reading some of the reviews, I decided to go with this one. Hopefully, this timer will be more durable than the mechanical one.

On my old timer, using was as simple as just turning the knob to the desired minute number and letting go. When the time elapsed, the bell would ring.

What intrigued me about this timer is it works on the same idea. Instead of dialing a knob, dialing the outer ring to a desired time sets the time. The depressing the face for a click starts the alarm countdown. The timer not only sets the minutes but also seconds so one can get to very precious settings. The settings are done with one outer ring for both the minutes and seconds. A fast turn sets the minutes and slowing to almost stop or pausing then turning slowly sets the seconds. There is a little bit of hit or miss involved at first and getting used to to get the timer just right. I practiced a few times setting to 10m 00 seconds and found myself overshooting a bit, then backing up (turning counter clockwise) until reaching the proper time. They key I think is to...

Alice Pham: I spent a few hours scrolling through the different timer options on Amazon. Some other products had bad reviews about the quality, the magnetic stick on the back and confusing scrolling to set the time. I just wanted something that worked. I read this one and saw consistent positive/solid reviews. I decided to buy it and have been happy so far!

The scrolling mechanism is indeed intuitive and easy to use. If you move it quickly it'll adjust minutes instead of seconds. Once the timer counts down, it reset to the last time you set-it, which is really convenient if you are doing pomodoro's or anything where you're using the same time for each countdown like a work out. Basically if you set it to 25 minutes, it'll reset back to 25 minutes once it counts down and you reset the timer. The screen dims a bit when you set it in eco power mode, but you can set it to be brighter with a switch on the back. The sound is nice and clear once it finishes counting down. There is a subtle click so you can get a tactile feel when adjusting the time.
