DaltonDalton: I got the 6 inch and Ive done maybe 5 grows to where the fan runs 24/7 for months at a time. The filter last about 2-3 runs. Using it in a 48x48x80 on the lowest setting and that’s enough to sink in the walls. It’s not the most quiet on the market but it’s not loud either. On full blast it gets a little loud. I would recommend the product because I’ve had it for a while and it works. 1 con though, the lip that connects the filter to the fan and the fan to the ductwork is sub-par.

Chris: I have the vivosun 4” kit as well as the ipower 4” kit , to start the vivosun fan is 10x better, much quieter and better quality metal frame, comes with a dust jacket, and it’s adjustable, the ipower is this cheap plastic fan that’s not adjustable and it’s kinda loud, I think the plastic housing produces harmonics that causes that! So anyway it’s a great setup for the price, not sure of the filters yet but both have decent reviews as far as removing odors

David A. Hill: Pros: Overall build quality was very satisfying. Fan housing is steel and is fairly heavy for it's size. Included duct was of good quality (expected less honestly - pleasantly disappointed😁👍)
The filter is huge. I didn't expect that. In all fairness, I just knew to buy the 6", I never looked at the measurements.
I smell nothing outside the tent and I use fish emulsion (this $#!t sinks).
It also has a potentiometer for speed adjustment.
Cons: I had to cut a piece of wood to bolt the fan to because, while it does come with a bracket and nuts and bolts, it doesn't come with a way to hang it inside the tent.
Also, the filter is bulky and a little heavy to hold overhead and hang by yourself. YOU'RE GOING TO WANT A SECOND SET OF HANDS (Yeah, you can hang it yourself, but if you have an anxiety disorder as well, just save yourself the frustration😤🤬👍)
Only other con is the noise level.
If the door isn't shut to that room, the fan can be heard downstairs and around the corner.
Other than that, 10 out of 10 for performance. Would buy again if I needed another.

Phil: I used this fan for around 5 months. The first 3 months went decently well, the suction was great and noise level wasn’t too loud at the lowest setting. Then came month 4... the fan now barely works and makes the loudest noises I’ve ever hear from a fan like this. I’ve used other fans that can last up to two years with little to no problems. Just last night I heard the fan stop completely on it’s own and made a screeching noise like it was grinding. I checked the fan with no obstructions and tried to turn it off then back on, it’s barely working and EXTREMELY loud im scared it’s going to blow up or stop working when I’m not around for a few hours. Hopefully im able to get a replacement or a refund as I’m just hitting early flower and this is going to be a problem.

Steven GilbertSteven Gilbert: The fan and filter showed up as scheduled yesterday and I hooked it up yesterday and started running some tests. I started by running it at 1/2 speed for a while. I have a 4'x4'x6.5' foot tent in a room that is roughly 10'x10' in the house. I have the duct inserted into the tent and the fan sucks the tent air out and then blows it thru the fan and into the filter which then exhausts the filtered air into the room. So I am in effect filtering the room and the tent at the same time. The tent is closed up completely except for one air intake flap down low to draw fresh air into the tent.
I did that test for a couple of hours to see what happens with the smell. I have an 8 bulb T5 fixture and all 8 bulbs are on and I have 2 additional 25 watt LED strips that fill in the area on either side of the fixture. Then I tried a different test with the tent wide open in the room and the fan on the lowest speed it all but eliminated the smell for me. My wife said she could still smell a bit so I turned the fan up to 1/2 speed and she was very happy a couple of hours later when we got home and there was no smell. The room and fan are right next to our bedroom and there was no noise issue...

Daniel Stansfield: The inline fan works great. If you using it to exhaust your tent it has great suction. Noise level is good, not very loud at all. Its well made.
