Mar: Bought this for my husband to use at our off grid cottage. He has used this for well over a year and raves about how useful it is and how clean it gets his clothes even after all this time. Definitely worth the price!

Ryan J. Nieva: **Note, this review is focused more on the seller than the product, as I feel I cannot fairly review this product, however I will say the product is extremely lightweight, easy to set up, easy to use, and for what it is, does a good job washing clothes that are not heavily soiled**

The washer/dryer arrived broken. I used the washer side which worked fine, it did a good job washing clothes. However, when I went to use the dryer/spinner, the spinner did not work. No manual arrived with the washer/dryer so I was unsure how to troubleshoot the unit, and no instructions could be found on the seller's main website or anywhere online. The following is a list of attempted fixes:

- I lightened the load from 2 t-shirts and 5 pairs of underwear to just 1 pair of underwear to see if the initial load was too heavy; no change.
- I checked to make sure that the outlet I was plugged into did not blow its fuse; it was fine.
- I ran the washer again to make sure that maybe the two shared a motor; they do not.
- I changed settings on the middle dial in case the spinner could not run on the drain function of the washer unit; nothing changed.
- I finally resorted to opening...

Corey: I'm a cribber by trade(Concrete carpenter). My work clothes get covered in dirt, mud, concrete, oil, and sawdust. All these things cause me no end of plumbing problems if I throw my work clothes in my main washing machine in the house. For several years I've had to "pre-wash" my work clothes outside with the garden hose and an old washboard before washing them properly in the house. Then, two weeks ago, I saw this portable washing machine and figured I'd give it a try. It arrived a few days ago and I set it up in my shed. I absolutely love it. Gets my work clothes clean in 10-20 minutes. I tested the limits a bit, and the wash side can do two pairs of jeans and four tee shirts at one time. The spin dry can do one pair of jeans and two tee shirt at a time. The wash could handle my insulated overalls, but the spin could not. Same story for non-insulated coveralls. Not really a big deal, for me anyway, that the spin can't handle the heavier clothing, my goal was to get these clean in a way that doesn't plug up my 60 year old plumbing once a month.

Oh and for those that care, I'm not draining oil contaminated water into the ground. I'm using an old oily water separator to...

ShiMarie: PROS-
•convenient for apartments
•energy saving
•good for small quick loads of laundry
•the spin dry nearly dries the laundry completely
•fairly small, easy to store
•very minimal laundry detergent makes laundry smell AMAZING
CONS-
•doesn’t come with the adapter for the water inlet, so if you don’t get one you’ll have to manually fill the washer (around 4-5 gallons of water so personally not a big deal)
•the hoses that come with it are practically useless. They don’t connect to each other (water pours through the connections if you try), they don’t connect to the machine, I don’t understand the purpose of even providing them. Instructions don’t clarify about the hoses, and I’ve yet to find a video that’s helpful
•because of the hoses, you have to use this washer in the shower, tub, or outdoors because the water outlet is reeeeally short.
•spin dryer gets thrown off balance REALLY easy, and you can only spin dry a few small items at a time (or one bath towel). This causes load times to be extended and loading/reloading often throughout the cycle.

CONCLUSION- I don’t regret buying this item, although for...

SephSeph: It is a small unit but that is what we wanted. We are both seniors and this is perfect for us. Light enough to lift and move around for storage. Now we don't have to go to the laundromat in these crazy times. The
spinner is awesome and it spins things in less than a minute to lightly damp. So far we like it. I had one issue though from the start. The washer drain did not operate properly. The tank barely drained and then stopped draining on the first load. I found the hook on the strap that connects the drain switch to the
plunger in the shut off valve was connected to the top hole in the plunger which caused too much slack and the plunger was never pulled up to open the drain valve. Lowering the hook to a lower notch on the plunger solved the problem and it now drains fine. However if the nylon strap fails I will install a chain or just use a submersible aquarium transfer pump the kind that is used to empty an aquarium to change the water. They are cheap and should work well if needed. Just did a lot of hoodies and sweats and it did those fine as long as neither the washer or the spinner are packed or filled too full. Smaller loads is the key. We put ours in the bathtub and...

Crystal MadisonCrystal Madison: I love this washing machine. It is quiet, does a great job cleaning my clothes. My husband built me a platform to put it on and a tote under it for when it drains also when I am rinsing and spinning the water drains into tote and I dump it. My husband does drywall everyday and his clothes are just full of mud. With this washer I can soak his clothes for a couple of hours then turn on timer and it agitated til its time to rinse then I take clothes out and stick in spinner with alittle water to rinse as its spinning then the clothes come out looking and smelling fresh and clean. Make sure you get a warranty because you will be using it alot and enjoying saving money especially now when we have a change shortage and can't find quarters to save your life!! TOTALLY RECOMMEND for any Apartment or college dorm room. As long as you have a faucet to hook up to and a tote to drain you gotvit made! PS, when in spin mode, it spins so fast that it separates water from material, (what they call the dryer, minus the heat) afterwards hang to dry or put in dryer and done way faster!!

Mike MMike M: When I decided to buy one of these portable personal washing machines it was just an awesome idea. I was not sure if they were actually worthwhile the money as far as cleaning and clothes goes but after doing extensive research into them I made a great decision about choosing the VivoHome Twin Tub Washing Machine. It's going to be a very affordable situation in the long run.
I have horrible arthritis in my knees and have to use a cane to get around so if the maneuverability and the weight of this thing is excellent and it takes up a very small space. Which is great because I live in a duplex so it's tight quarters.
The only downside complaints that I can see I have after the first day of owning it is the drainage tube could be longer and it could have a 30 minute wash setting. Those are my my only dislikes of this wonderful piece of human ingenuity.

CSSD: This thing is great. It has it's flaws but overall it's saving me so much trouble and money.

Pros:
- Easy to move and store. Small dimensions.
- Works almost exactly like a typical washer.
- Ideal if you live in a 3½ with no space for washer/dryer.
- Easy to clean
- Spinner spins really hard. hehe

Cons:
- The method for filling either sides is inadequate, prone to messes and slow. I prefer using a big bucket that I fill in my bathtub and empty directly in the washing tub. I then use the same bucket for the drained water.
- Takes more of your time without taking more time. What I mean is that the cycles are shorter so you have to actively use it to the contrary of typical washers that you can starts and come back when it's done.
- Gravity drain so that means you'll end up with more "leftovers" plushes, strings, hair, on your clothes that would usually get drained away.
- Spinner can be hard to use. You really have to balance your clothes or it will go nuts immediately.
- Requires frequents cleaning of "leftovers" on the sides of the washing tub.

Still the best option for my appartment.

Tribalistas: Bought this little machine for washing my clothes as there is no other possiblity to wash nearby. It works decently and cleans pretty well. I hardly see a difference to the quality of a normal washer.
Two aspects of this machine are not good. The spin timer can be max. 5 Min. Jeans and sheets need at least three spins to be okay. Why not giving the option for a 10 or 15 minute spin? I would need to look less after my clothes. Furthermore, the spinner dries clothes pretty well, yet they definitely need to hang on a rack after to be dry enough to wear.
Second, the washer drains water by gravity. That is pretty inconvenient. The short drain hose is not helpful. I put the machine on some boxes that it is at least 15cm from the ground. Then the water drains well.

I am very satisfied with the product. For just $186 it is a good deal for people who are okay with having something decent yet not as convenient as a normal machine.
