VictoriaVictoria: I’m really enjoying this bike, the quality is excellent. The electric motor is very responsive as a pedaling assist or as the propulsion. The motor also has a low, medium, and high mode! The removable battery makes it so simple to charge quickly! Some of the additional features (like the front/rear/break lights and electric motor cut out when ybreaking) are super beneficial. Comfort wise I was super impressed with the bike seat - it’s wide and well cushioned. The handle bars and seat were also easily adjustable. Setting up the bike took about an hour. It came with the tools required to set up, but a bike pump for the tires will also be needed. Well made and designed e bike!

Toni: I needed this to replace a 27 1/2" 500w mountain bike style commuter but I now needed a step through and this c26 bike had more style than the others, so I read the reviews, compared accessories with other bikes, and, based on that I ordered one in silver. My order was shipped immediately, showing the distributor to be very responsive, and arrived in minimal time. Assembly was easy, except for that darn seat mechanism. My seat was different from the one pictured, but that one seemed to draw complaints from other reviewers as uncomfortable,and the substitute was padded and comfortable so I think it was an upgrade. I initially rode it 6 miles ( my daily city commute ) and was very pleased with how solid it rides. The pedal assist kicks in quite a bit quicker than my previous 500 watt bikes and, after the initial surprise, was very steady and comfortable to pedal and maintain good speed, giving optimal power even at lower settings, and great for crossing intersections quickly. Claire Yarbrough: Have had the bike for a little over a week and so far zero major issues with it.
The only grievances I have had with the bike was the fenders being wildly bent in shipping and requiring a good amount of work to try and get them to stop rubbing the wheels. They still sometimes rub the tire if its bumpy which is an annoyance but nothing bad enough to stain my experience. The flip up seat to access the battery also does not work with the seat I have and the bar to activate it is cast iron so you cannot easily bend it to allow its use on other seats. Its not a huge deal but removing the seatpost every time is a bit annoying.
The build was otherwise painless if you've assembled a bicycle before
The bike will go 20mph without much fuss and comfortably stays between 10-18mph, and i was able to go over 11 miles the other day and still had over half capacity. The ride is pretty good and the brakes work great once theyre adjusted properly
the throttle is basically a binary switch but at this price something has to be skimped on, and the addition of the cruise control mode makes it up to me personally

Brian TBrian T: I like the bike very much. I do. But there are some minor issues that may be of interest or use to others.

PROS
Stylish
Easy to assemble
Great battery life
Holds a lot of weight (I’m 6’, 235 lbs)
Has a nice zippy speed
Charges very quickly

CONS
Back tire went flat within 2 hrs of riding it the very first time (possibly a low quality tube?)

Had a slightly bent brake disc on the front tire which made the tire have friction when trying to spin it

After having the bike a little over a month now, I can already feel the brakes being less effective

The left pedal (not JUST the pedal but the entire piece that gets screwed onto the bike) now comes loose after riding for awhile. So the pedal starts to wobble. So I now carry a hex Allen wrench with me and I tighten it up regularly.

Customer service is terrific. I wrote about my flat tire and bent brake disc and they promptly shipped me a new tube and disc. Fortunately, I have a great bike guy in my town, so he was able to switch out the tube and he does great brake work.

I don’t recommend NOT buying the bike. But just be prepared for issues. It’s an inexpensive...

Mrs I F R Lough: An excellent bike. Arrived fairly promptly and was relatively easy to put together. Had a bit of a job with the handle grips, but go there in the end.
Riding the bike is a joy - so easy to operate the gears and the help you get going up hills does make cycling fun again.

jithin k paul: First of all I have to say I really like this bike. I’m surprised at some of the poor reviews, as this bike is a game changer for me. This is my first e-bike & I wanted to see what it was all about. I really needed a bit of help on the hills & I hadn’t planned to use electric assist all the time, just when I needed it. It does exactly that very well. For me I still wanted a workout & this bike is perfect. Having said that I’ve been up some really steep hills & with some effort on my part does this very well. A lot of people expect e- bikes to be like a motor bike where u don’t have to do anything & this of course is wrong. If the bike is in stock it will arrive quickly. Easy to assemble, did mine in 30 mins on my own. It was ridable straight out of the box. The bike has a lot of torque in low gears & really takes off. The burst of acceleration you get is surprising. How long the battery lasts is difficult to say, depends how many hills, & what setting you put it on. If you use it only when u need it just to give slight assistance I think it would go all day! G.M: Très content, bien qu'il y est un peu de montage à faire.
Par contre, pas facile d'enlever la poignée caoutchouc pour la remplacer par la poignée d'accélérateur, mais avec de la persévérance on y arrive et après c'est vraiment agréable de filer à 20km/h sans pédaler !
La grosse charnière pour plier le vélo est vraiment très très très dur à manœuvrer, certainement que cela devrait s'arranger en la manœuvrant plusieurs fois avec un peu de graisse.
Malheureusement il n'y a pas de description pour enlever la batterie sur la notice, il faut trouver tout seul !!! Je suis sympa avec vous, voici comment faire : Pour débloquer le verrou de la batterie il faut utiliser la clé fournie et l'insérer dans la serrure que ce trouve bien caché en dessous du cadre et faire bien attention d'enlever le bouchon protecteur de la prise de recharge pour pouvoir glisser facilement la batterie en dehors du cadre.

Rich from Devon: Easyish to assemble - throttle was already connected which others don't do.
Goes well and power assist is essential here in Devon.
Brakes are not great but can be adjusted and I'm not sure how long they'll last.
Battery seems ok so far but as ever only time will tell if it lasts.
You get what you pay for and this is a good budget electric bike to start you out.

graham p.jones: This is my second new ebike,the first a 250w,this one at 350w has all the power I need and more. I cannot speak too highly of it-climbs the steepest muddy hill with ease using pedal assist. On cycle paths etc. the throttle is extremely sensitive in its response. The brakes are light touch giving an instant stop-10 out of 10. The only change I have made is to fit a large well sprung seat for my personal comfort. The price is great value. A pleasure to go out cycling on it-I look forward to every outing so too does my accompanying dog.
