46&lovinit: I feed raw and use the freeze dried to help with weight gain. One dog is allergic to chicken so the food I feed my other dog, he can’t eat. This dog only gets a few pieces in his bowl but unfortunately it’s caused horrible diarrhea and it was at night when we were sleeping. Had to throw out a big rug because I couldn’t wash it.
The food is good quality but the pieces would be too big for a small dog. If you buy it, go slow when introducing it. Waking up to diarrhea all over the walls and down the hallway is a really unpleasant way to start the day.

Adela: This is the only food my picky pooch would eat and tolerate. Tried over 10 other brands, tried cooked meal subscriptions, tried to cook for her myself and so did my husband- nothing worked and after a couple days she would stop eating + she developed an allergy and started losing hair around her eyes at only 7 months old. This is the only food that she consistently liked and that did not hurt her stomach/ gave her allergies, she is full of energy and her coat looks great! Thank you for creating such a great product!

Linda Ward: I can’t even express how happy I am that I ordered Vital Essentials. I have it in small bites because my dog only has two teeth. This is the first healthy food she has ever eaten.
My brother came to visit with his dog last week. I tried to feed her the food my brother had brought with him but she wouldn’t eat it. Later I heard a strange noise. When I checked his dog was trying to lift the top of a straw basket where I keep the Vital Essentials. She loved it and for the rest of their visit that what she did when she was hungry. I have signed up for a subscription and I sent my brothers dog a bag so she would have it when she got home.
