BookGirl54: This is the perfect little go-to hat for all kinds of events - church, tea, funerals, taking out the trash if you want to give your neighbors something to talk about. A couple of things to note - the "hat" part is pressed paper and feels almost like a paper plate. No one will every know because it sits on your head perfectly, but you should know it's not super high-end. Also, the net is a bit course so you will have to fuss with it to get it to drape the way you want it. Neither of these issues interfere in any way with the functionality and look of this little bonnet.
