Catherine. Heathcliff: So he lost his treasured Swiss Army knife and was bereft. We immediately ordered another one, as he has to have this on his person at all times. (He’s a mechanic and inveterate “tinkerer” and there is always something that need repair!). Of course after it came we found the one he lost in the seat cushions of the couch. So now he has two. No problem. We are all set if he loses one again!

JRDJRD: My very first SAR knife was a Forester. From the start I had some superficial negative experience due to the state it arrived not the Tinker. I bought the Tinker because I found the Forester to too large and heavy in my pocket for everyday use. The Tinker was a perfect size. A little lighter than I expected. I don’t think I have a use for both the long and short blade. I liked that the long blade has no lock. I liked that it had a screwdriver than a corkscrew. I have more use screwing than drinking a bottle of wine. I’m happier with this purchase than the Forester.
