It’s neither big or cumbersome to have in my Skinth pouch and it is also part of my rotational EDC. I have three (3) with different scales - walnut, Campfire (from Tortoise Gear) and red cellidor. This purchase was made for a friend’s upcoming retirement.

happykat: I own 12 Victorinox multitools, including two Huntsman. However, when I saw this white Huntsman, I was immediately attracted to the elegant white scale on this Victorinox. In person, this multitool looks fantastic and has quickly moved up to my favorite Huntsman over the blue sapphire and clear scaled Huntsman.

All the tools but the awl, were easy to take our and snap back into this Victorinox.

Squanto McGee: I picked the Huntsman over some of the other SAK offerings because there are three tools that I absolutely must have and the Huntsman has them: They are the corkscrew, saw, and scissors. The Climber and Camper are great knives (I have one of each), but they are each missing one of my three "essential" tools. No matter which knife you pick you will be happy with it. I have one that is about 40 years old and other than needing to be sharpened it still works great.

Uncle NathanUncle Nathan: Hay que tener en cuenta que este tipo de multi-herramientas no son un reemplazo directo de ninguna de las funciones que desempeñan. Siempre va a haber alguna pega, y en general va a ser la poca comodidad a la hora de hacer uso de cada función, o que incluso se acabe dañando la estructura central. Estas multi-herramientas están más pensadas para usos puntuales creo yo, no les puedes pedir un uso constante como si fuera una herramienta normal.

Obviando esos factores, y valorando la versatilidad de tener esas opciones en tan poco espacio, yo creo que este tipo de herramientas hacen muy bien su papel. Cierto, no van a ser herramientas cómodas para usar constantemente, pero seguramente te van a ser útiles o te van a sacar de algún apuro en momentos puntuales. Cuando te acostumbras a llevarlas encima, acabas sacándolas mucho más de lo que crees.

Para el tamaño que tiene y con un precio bastante justo yo diría que es una buena opción para llevarla a mano, o para dejarla en el coche o en un rincón en tu bolsa de diario. Esta la llevo encima desde hace 6 meses y la acabo sacando bastante para pequeñas tareas. También opino que sería un regalo chulo para...
