But yeah he seems to, he also as an older kitty has joint issues and these (after the instructed amount and procedure of administering,) have gotten him back to being playful. He is now again able to jump and drop high distances as he wishes so they clearly work too, being older he still isn't as active as he used to be but he doesn't struggle to get up and down anymore when laying / standing, etc. He eats these like any other treat but being rather large sometimes they upset his stomach, so I suggest cutting them in half and giving them separately over the course of a few minutes.

DD: My 12-year-old is a big boy, so his joints needed some extra help. He loved these for years. Now, all of a sudden, he won't go near them., He turns up his nose and walks away. At first I thought it was a bad bag, so I bought another. Vetriscience must have changed something in the formula. Too bad because they worked very well. Now he's limping again.

Lisa Franklin: I noticed that my 12 year old cat wasn't moving around as easily. He slept more and just didn't seem as happy. I did some reading and realised these are signs of pain.
After buying these treats for him, I noticed a change pretty quickly. He jumps down from the couch with a little more ease and he seems to be in much better spirits. Cats hide pain well, and I think these have helped him even more than I know. I believe he is much more comfortable now, therefore happier.
I've never really been one to give my cats treats and generally, the few times I have, he has turned his nose up at them. However he loves these. He knows the schedule I give them to him and reminds me every time. It's a highlight of his day!
They are a little pricey but I do think they are worth the cost.
I'm grateful I found these! Bambi is too.

Mori: My cats will literally eat anything so im surprised that my greediest cat wont touch them no matter what ive tried to mix it in with and the one that did eat one projectile vomited on the stairs. These cats have stomachs of steel usually so its worrying that a new "treat" had such a violent reaction! i only got them today and im so disappointed and the price is so expensive too! seems like these are hit or miss for pets :(

Mike Ferris: I can't get our cat to eat them. She doesn't like the smell and won't touch them so I had to cut up and burry in her food. She seems a bit better but it's actually hard to tell.

Miss Liane: These chews have been amazing so far! My 10 year old Maine Coon kitty has arthritis in his right knee and after doing a lot of research I came across these chews. I love that they are a natural alternative to the injections my vet wanted to administer once a week and free from side effects. They smell awful but he loves them! And he's been playing and running around the house again, first time in years that he's been so active. I'll update next month after he's had them for longer, I feel that the effects will improve even more after some more time has gone by. Thank you for making my boy happy again!

Hurren: These things have literally saved my cat's life and she is so much happier because of them. She has a luxating patella and crystals in her urine and these little chews (along with Vet meds and better eating) have been very effective in getting her back to walking without a limp and peeing without blood when at her worst. These are more of a preventative measure and long term fix when used correctly, but we could see the difference in her within the first couple of weeks. The long term fix this is going to have obviously depends on the cat and severity of illness/injury, but it's worth the money just for the pain relief alone.

kmotc: Glycoflex--has made my cats (that’s two elder cats now) golden years a lot less painful.
Update 4.1.20
Still using Glycoflex for an older cat, but a new older cat with even more stiffness and probably pain without the supplement.
We lost Maia in 2018 but adopted a new older stray, Bast who was a lot more decrepit when he came to us.
He has either some bad arthritis or an old injury, or both, which makes him very stiff. He could not jump or move very quickly when we got him and looked extremely uncomfortable when moving from being in a stationary position for a while.
After using the Glycoflex in his food for only a short time, he moved a lot better and does not seem as stiff. He can jump on things and even trot about a bit when he wants, but he has to have the Glycoflex consistently.
He does not love it, so I leave it out of the first bit of wet food he gets for the day—that makes him happy, as he gets some good tasting food, then I cut it up and put in the remaining food for the day and he eats it. Yeah, I know, poor cat he has to eat food with a bad taste, but he will be practically crippled without...

LoveSomeBunny: Bought these for my 15-yr-old arthritic cat, Lucky at the advice of my feline-only vet. Prior to starting these, Lucky had been on Cosequin for Cats for several months with no success. He had rear-leg weakness, difficulty standing from a laying position, and was reluctant to be groomed. Other possibilities for these symptoms had been ruled out via blood tests and physical exam. I had my doubts about this product, not only from an effectiveness standpoint but taste, as well. I've never been able to get Lucky to eat a medicine-type treat or vitamin. But my vet said I must try these because she had seen many cats go wild over them.
She was right! Not only does Lucky love them, but I have to work to keep my other cats from stealing his treat!
It took about 6 wks to see improvement, which is consistent with the package info. He is a tall, large-framed cat at 15#, so he gets 2 treats per day--1 in the morning, 1 in the evening--and ALWAYS BEFORE A MEAL so that the medicine in the treat does not upset his stomach. (This is very important.) He now is much more active, runs up the stairs, is climbing onto furniture again, and once again enjoys being brushed. The change has...

Lindsey: Cannot get 3rd cat to eat... don't know why. Other two freak out like it's their favorite treat and I'm starving them.
