JDDD: My bad. This item did not meet my needs because I did not carefully read the product description. I needed a Velcro type strapping with a self adhesive double sided tape to adhere to two different surfaces which would be stuck together via the loop system. Item was returned unused.

Kindle Customer: I realized about an hour into a 13-hour outdoor workday that my cargo shorts' waistband wasn't as tight as it needed to be, and spare belt is just about the only thing I *don't* have in my office. I had just ordered and received this Velcro to replace some bungee cords I hated dealing with, and it worked well for that, so I thought I'd try it as a belt. This held up my shorts with a water bottle on the left side and my half-a-Home-Depot-on-a-keyring on the right side beautifully. Excellent product.

Amazon Customer: I have had a blast finding ways to use this Velcro. I am accustomed to using two pieces of Velcro to adhere to each other which is fine and there is a place for it, but having the front and back working together on one strip has been much easier for my purposes . I sell artificial flower arrangements at the local Farmer’s Market. I used the Velcro to adhere the arrangements to the bases on the table. I also line a wire fence with bouquets. Before I decided to experiment with the Velcro, I was using string that I had cut and tie and it would slip or the bouquets would turn upside down . With this Velcro, I cut a piece, just a little longer than the circumference of the bouquet, wrap it around the fence wire and the bouquet, and overlap the two ends! Then I am done and ready for the next bouquet! It has shortened my setup time by about 15 minutes. Plus, it’s easy to store and it’s reusable!

James Van Meggelen: I laugh at all the various uses I find for this stuff (we just hacked together some DIY hand straps for our VR headset using nothing but this). The Velcro brand is still worth something, so it's worth paying a bit more for.
These are very wide straps, so they're probably not useful for binding up cables under your desk or whatever. These are for when you need nice wide straps with a strong grip.
