Vegan Thai Peanut Sauce by WATCHAREES - Perfect for Stir-Fries and Dipping!

Amazon Customer: You know you’re going to have to taste it for yourself when some reviewers say it’s too spicy; others say it’s not spicy enough. Some say it’s too sweet; others say it’s perfect. After reading the ingredients of Watcharee’s Thai Peanut Sauce, I had a feeling I would love it. Bought two jars from Amazon, then took note of a reviewer’s tip that it’s cheaper at Whole Foods and bought three jars there. I tried it for the first time today. I could eat a whole jar by itself with a spoon in one sitting — it’s that good. Few store-bought peanut sauces or peanut sauce recipes include red curry paste and Massaman curry — this one does and it adds immensely to the flavor. For people who complain about sweetness: authentic Vietnamese and Thai peanut sauces are on the sweet side. I add a little low-sodium tamari and that solves the problem beautifully. I don’t intend ever to be without Watcharee’s Thai peanut sauce and check out her interesting story on her web site.

Ben Hickman: PRODUCT ADVERTISED AS HAVING 7GM OF SUGAR BUT ACTUALLY HAS 13GM OF SUGAR....TOO MUCH SUGAR FOR US. THIS COMPANY ALSO MAKES THIS PRODUCT WITH 7MG OF SUGAR....WHICH IS VERY GOOD AND COMPARABLE TO WHAT YOU WOULD EXPERIENCE IN THE THAILAND OR SOUTHEAST ASIA.

ALTHOUGH WEBSITE INDICATES PRODUCT IS RETURNABLE, WHEN YOU READ THE FINE PRINT, IT IS NOT.

Jennifer S Kojro-Badziak: Sadly these were both defective when they delivered … but I am not allowed to return them. I’ve bought them in the past and they were amazing. It really stinks that I can not get a refund.

Sam: Flavor meh, warmth okay, thickness is too thin - overall meh...
Personally was NOT a fan. The sauce was very sweet, I think due to the tamarind flavor that was present, and it lacked any peanut scent or taste that myself, wife and friend could "detect".
I also like spicy foods - like secret aardvark habanero hot sauce, this had enough heat to be good for those that like some heat, but not over powering.

S. Williams: It is too good! Do not get this! WOW, I am amazed at the taste & quality. I just used it on pork, chicken, veggies & I am looking forward to trying this on other foods. I am not a fan of peanut butter, but this Thai Peanut Sauce is truly exceptional. I hope that they keep true to their superb recipe as their sales flourish, which I am sure they will since it is sooooooo good. I just reordered more so I not only have it on hand, but I can share this wonderful product with others. I also sent this a friend to try & she is also a foodie. I am also looking forward to checking out their other products. Thank you Watcharee, I have been trying other brands of peanut sauce, but you are the king!
