David Arthur Daniels: Wipe this straight from bottle on steel. Cut 3M Scotch-Brite Pad to size and install on old 1/4 sheet 110 volt sander. Vary pad grit to produce rust removal speed / finish desired.

Test Pilot: I needed to flush my Power Steering system on a 2002 Toyota. At $15.91 delivered this fit the bill at a cost comparable to 10oz from the local auto parts store.
BTW: If you get a squeal turning the wheel, long before the stops on a 1st gen Tacoma. There is a screen in the pump tank that can be removed (the tank) and back-flushed with something like contact/brake cleaner until you see a clean screen with a flashlight. Don't need new anything, but look up how to purge flush after fixing the clog. This probably applies to many other vehicles also!
