Great boot. Wore it in as low a -5C and had no problems. Did not get a chance to test water resistant. I'm a size 9 men's, bought a 9.5 to wear wool sock with but it fit me perfect .

For an upcoming trip to Finland at the beginning of the snowy season, I figured these shoes would help. I am absolutely satisfied with these. They kept my feet warm, gave me solid grip, and have excellent all-day comfort. I had a fear they might "overheat" my feet when worn indoors, but that was absolutely not the case. Even when worn indoors, I was in absolute comfort. The overall weight of the shoes is quite good, as well. They're not cumbersome or tiresome.
I would recommend them to any cold-climate novice. They served me well.

Super light and comfy, moderate warmth, very thin soke but very comfortable on flat surfaces. Not water resistant in anyway. Coukd be great if sprayed with waterprooging spray for around town use. No good at all for wet or snowy hiking or outdoor / woods activities

I read one review that said these run small, and I hesitated to order because only size 12 was available and I wear 11. So I ordered them thinking I can return them if they aren't right. But I was surprised that the 12 is only slightly big. So I wore them on a hike with my dog, and when I got home I put in insoles and laced them up tighter, and they fit well and feel comfortable. I have some heavier boots for snow and cold, and those definitely have thicker faux fur inside. These are warm but not THAT warm, even with thick winter socks, but they are pretty comfortable, and for the price, I will wear them until they fall off. As for "waterproof", haven't been able to test that aspect yet.
UPDATE: Two months to the exact day the sole is separating and falling off the right shoe. So as I mentioned above I wore them until they literally fell off. So I ordered another pair to get me through the rest of the winter - I need them DAILY since I take my dog out for a run every day, and that means either snow or mud. Unfortunately, the replacements LEAVE HORRIBLE BLACK MARKS ON THE FLOOR.

Has decent traction sand/grit sticks to bottom so halps with tracton but necessitates removal when coming indoors. Plush lining is comfortable but makes for a tighter fit. A retaner on the tongue that the laces thread through is a problem for opening and tightening the boots so relaced avoiding that part.
Were very inexpensive and don't know how long they will last but winter boots have a pretty tough life once the slush and salt season arrives. So far so good. Wearing out in sub-20C temps warm and comfortable. Well pleased
