Im a big guy, like overweight lol i replace ld my high rise for these bullhorn bars for more hand placement. I can ride 10-15 miles and move hand position around to fight fatigue. These bars are great

The cycling journals recommend these bars. At half the price of others I was a bit skeptical (I was also concerned that they might be a bit narrow for me) but I gave them a try. Best value investment I've ever made on many bicycles over may years! The quality is great, the weight is good and the ergonomics perfect! I broke all my hill climbing personal records on Strava and even got on a leader board. So much more leverage for climbing (and sprinting) and sooo comfortable when stretching out on the straights or tucking in on decents. I want these on all my bikes now!! I'm 6' 2" and use them with a 90mm stem with a medium rise. Absolutely would buy again. Also got complements twice on the same day on my bike. They look very cool. Can't beat that... Good looks and function with improved performance and comfort. A win-win.
The only caution I would add is that I fitted Tekro 4.1 Reverse bar-end brakes. I had to modify the Tektros to fit them in the ends (published info available makes this obvious but I went ahead anyway). Not a problem. My regular brakes fitted them perfectly, so just research what you want to do: If a Fixie, then not a consideration, If...

Bought a cruiser bike for my 60th b-day. Being a shortie, though, I had difficulty with the handlebars. Purchased this one, BUT, because I also had to turn the stem towards the saddle, this (straighter) handlebar didn’t offer enough clearance for my knees when pedaling. It’s nice, but I ended up buying the Retrospect Pursuit, which work perfectly!

I am really happy with these handle bars. My bike had the forward-facing racing bars which forced me to bend too far forward (back surgery guy, here). I replaced those and I couldn't be happier. As you can see from the picture, I have these positioned in a more traditional way with the handles close to me. The only thing I might add to alert shoppers about these is that the actual handle portion is sort of short, so hand-grips should be of a shorter variety. Otherwise, if you are looking for this style of handle bar, it's a winner.
