Bre: This is a thought provoking and very real book on issues that affect us today. It is well thought out and written. Highly suggest reading it.

Patrick Barrett: Just tonight I was listening to my wife correcting the TV pundits on life in America for Black people. I reminded her of James Baldwin's statement that to be Black in America was to be in a constant state of rage. Some of our acquaintances have remarked on her anger, almost to the point of telling her to 'get over it.' She has to tell them that I'm worse than she is (I'm White, she is Black). I have the Big Thoughts, which began about 20 years into our marriage when I saw, 20 years after the Great Society Civil Rights legislation that the change was superficial. I began thinking in terms of enclaves, where Black people could control the institutions of daily life. Then about 20 years after that I broadened it out to the resurrection of the Confederacy so all these people who are unhappy with a pluralistic society could go off and not pay taxes and shoot each other without affecting us. Blow has a much more nuanced notion: Blacks can move back (my wife came from East Texas) to the South and take political control of a few states just by their numbers. That would give them the control I sought with my enclaves and still be deal makers with senators and...

Kindle Customer: Overall this book starts off as a heavily Democrat leaning, attempt to convince Black people to mobilize to 5 southern States so that they can have more influence over Federal policy & National elections. This book has educated me, on many personal Black stories, historically informative details and I've gained a greater appreciation for Black survivors of post Civil War life, in southern American States. If it is true, the author was inspired by reading "Black State Of America, Black Reparations, Civil Rights 2.0" by RS LDJ, I would feel vindicated, appreciated and humbly continue my promotion of my core belief that Black America must Migrate in order to Create Multiple Black Majority Voter States as I have done since 2018. If it has encouraged any of our Black brethren to take up the mantle of the Black Migration for the Creation of Multiple Black Majority Voter States, it's intended purpose was achieved and at the end of the day, that is all that really matters.

A.L. Smith:
The title alone piqued my interest. Simply stated, Mr. Blow does not disappoint.
This is an incredible depiction of the “power struggle” in America (past and present) and exactly what it looks like from our perspective. But most importantly, it offers a solution while debunking a number of myths that have played a role in the perpetual oppression of African Americans. Prescriptively, the author provides a blueprint for yet another power shift...The “re-migration” of African Americans to the South. Based on the arithmetic alone, it simply makes sense.
To be clear, prior to the Emancipation Proclamation, political power was dependent on the institution of slavery even though we couldn’t vote and in spite of the fact that we were only partially human. The framers of the Constitution sanctioned this method of the distribution of political power, which was rooted in greed, through the Electoral College and the 3/5th Compromise. The southern states were the initial beneficiaries and a civil war would prove to be the only remedy. However, the freeing of the enslaved was not an act of altruism...even Lincoln, the “Great Emancipator,” (and social...
