Amazon Customer: Worth getting, but important to know that its healthier and you can taste that. The fat being removed makes it less creamy and less flavourful. It's still a great addition to protein shakes, oatmeal, and smoothies.
Great if you are trying to reduce calories in your diet.

Vulgaricus Gasket: This is almost flavorless-so don't expect a big almond influence. However, it blends in well with various foods, adding nutrition. It's super light-so backpackers, hikers and campers can bring this on the trail. Not sure if it will turn into "butter" with water-but I just add it to things dry.

monetslily: I love the versatility and ease with which you can mix this powder with any recipe. Everyone knows how difficult it can be to add nut butters to mixes!! I am love that it is unsweetened so that those watching their weight, diabetics or those managing intake for body building can regulate sugar intake. Easy to add a dose of flavor or extra protein to a snack or drink. It is also great for preparedness and packaging high protein items in small spaces. However, I am stunned at the cost of the product. I don't regularly buy this item due to cost. It would be on repeat purchase if the cost were reasonable.

Angie E: Got this to replace the powdered peanut butter - can no longer have peanuts. The two products are not quite the same. This is salt and sugar free - which is fine if you just want to add to a shake or on your oatmeal. But to mix for a PBJ it is a bit lacking in flavor and appearance. It looked more like paper mache and kind of tasted like it too lol. I have since added sweetner and some salt to what is left in my container (upon the advice of someone). Hoping that will help some. I will continue to use though for oatmeal and shakes if nothing else. I do love Barney products - esp the creamy almond butter- so yummy!!

abreyer: Okay, this is a little weird. It's not quite like powdered peanut butter; you need to add more water and it bulks up more but also gets a little gooey. To fix this I mix half almond powder and half peanut powder (and some extra ground flax seeds to act as a good binder). Because there is no sugar or salt added, sometimes I also mix in a little salt or stevia.
