Unscented, Non-Clumping Micro Crystal Cat Litter with Litter Pearls

Tony Renna: Using crystal cat litters for many years due to their low dust qualities eliminating the worry of my cat inhaling clay dust that other litters contain potentially causing cats to develop respiratory issues. Fresh step was my original brand until they starting using shipping issues to justify their exaggerated high pricing. Educated consumers know that these price gouging excuses are pure greed exhibited by many companies. Not one to be bullied or taken advantage of I started researching other products that will work the way I expect at a reasonable price. Being pleasantly surprised when I found this brand using it without incident ever since. This quality brand cat litter is long lasting remaining odor free with proper maintenance. Hopefully this brand will continue to treat their loyal customers fairly by maintaining quality and price. However if I feel that there is unjustified price gouging or changes in the performance of this product I will seek out another brand. Remember we as consumers have the power to eliminate suspect business practices by exercising our right to purchase elsewhere, encouraging others to do the same. As for now this brand gets my full endorsement.

TN: Works well, I have to change it more often cause I have more than 1 cat but it’s so nice not having to scoop clumps of pee. It doesn’t smell until it really needs to be changed

SM: This stuff is basically magic.

I'm not going to lie and say that it's dust free, because it isn't... when you pour it there *will* be a cloud, and you will choke a bit.

That being said, odor control is top notch. It doesn't clump, so sifting for cat poop is a breeze. It's very absorbent and doesn't stick to the litter box, so it's easy to do a deep clean on the box. The color change is gradual, but very clear, so you know when it's been saturated and needs to be completely replaced.

The granules are tiny so it doesn't hurt my cat's feet. My big fat girl doesn't complain about stepping on it like she did with regular crystals, and my kitten thinks it's great fun to dig.

Oh, and best of all it *doesn't track*

I've tried all the other brands that people say are the best, and without exception they're all equally crappy, or otherwise unsuitable.

Joanne Martin: Little drag. Easy to clean. Sometimes doesn't last the entire month but it works as good as any premium, expensive brand.

I switched from clumping sand type product that did not hide odor and was easily tracked throughout the house on my kitty's paws. Litter pearls are soft on kitty's paws,absorbs odors and easy to scoop. Lasts longer than clumping cat litter. Well worth the prices.

Lovejoy: I have used this product for 30 days now, and totally agree with the other reviewer who said that the negative reviews for Litter Pearls Micro Crystals were because of "user error".

I've tried many cat litters and have used Feline Pine original (non-clumping) for at least 14 years. It's an excellent product that eliminates urine odors completely, and is safe for poop to be flushed down the toilet. But recently, my young girl kitty started to develop bleeding ear sores and blisters, and after ruling out food allergies, etc., we traced it to the Feline Pine--perhaps it was a reaction to whatever oils remain in the product after kiln-drying, but we just don't know. While researching new litter, I wanted something of a benign, non-chemical/non-scented nature. And I also remembered that my two cats seemed to like Feline Pine best when it was almost ready to be changed (i.e., soft sawdust and not pine nugets) so I decided to try this product--which is the exact texture of beach sand. Both cats immediately preferred it: during the switchover, I kept one box of Feline Pine and one of the Micro Crystals, and neither cat touched the Feline Pine for the two week "test period".
