Jose Hernandez: I've bought these Fisher sliced almonds a number of times now because they cost about the same as at the local grocery store, and I can get them in the 16 ounce size, which sometimes isn't available locally. Locally they're typically found in the 10 ounce size, but I prefer the larger bag. However, while they cost the same and taste the same, I notice that more than half the time they get so shaken up in transit that what are supposed to be almond slices end up being about 70% slices and the rest powder and smaller pieces. Since I use these to add to my home-made healthy cereal I really don't mind. Just providing this as a "warning" in case somebody is looking to buy these for the aesthetics. Otherwise, they're a good buy and worth getting if you don't feel like going to the store yourself.

Alex T.: I love these sliced almonds, they're fresh and good quality! I toast them and keep refrigerated in an air-tight container. They are great in salads, cold cereals and as a topping for hot cereals and sliced fresh fruit with some cinnamon sugar added. I don't mind some skins peeling off after toasting as I leave them on the tray when transferring cooled nuts to a sealed container.

Sven5000Sven5000: I was looking for the most affordable bag of sliced almonds to make homemade granola with. I have a new baby at home so I couldn't go to Trader Joe's, where I usually buy nuts and dried fruit from. There's a good amount in here. This lasted two batches of granola (photo shows one batch). Great quality as well. I received the bag without any crushed almonds.

(I baked these along with rolled oats, sunflower seeds, unsweetened shredded coconut, olive oil, brown sugar, salt, and maple syrup. I added tart cherries and cranberries at the end)
