ramesh: Overall, "How I Made $2,000,000 in the Stock Market" offers an interesting and motivational account of the author's journey to financial success. The book serves as a source of inspiration for aspiring traders and investors. However, readers should approach the content with a critical mindset, considering the lack of concrete guidance and the anonymous nature of the author. It can be an enjoyable read for those interested in personal stories of triumph in the stock market, but may not provide a practical roadmap for replicating the same level of success.

Amazon Customer: Such a good book. The sequence of events are so well written that you feel like you are reading a suspense thriller. It is more of a trading psychology book, where the Author has mentioned about key aspects of his mistakes, challenges and learnings througout the trading journey. Not much about his "Box strategy" covered, which seems to be similar to Support and Resistance theory.
The book is small sized with around 160 pages. paper quality is good. Bought it for Rs 156.
As further reading you may go for another book by same author titled " you can still make it in the market" . Thank you for reading this review.

Diarmuid O'Sullivan: I see a lot of poor reviews claiming this book provides no value on a trading system, ypu should know that is not the purpose of the book. Once you have haines market experience, this book is absolute gold. The book teaches you about emotions and psychology in investing and all the mistakes that can be made that most with experience will relate to. New investors won't gain much from this book on first read, as i did kot years ago, but after gaining marker experience, this book is a classic reread every year!

Elezibeth A. Morgan: Wow!! I flew through this book in record time, not only because I eagerly wanted to learn how to not be a barnacle on the hull of the stock market, but because the first person narrative was absolutely captivating.
Your stomach will curl, you will cringe, and you’ll experience all the emotions of the author through the ups and downs of his journey. Elation, relief, impulse, restraint, indecision, sheer terror, and the unexpected quietness of success… it’s all here.
Dean Koontz, lucky for you this man’s primary purpose was not writing, or we may have never heard your name.
If you want to fall asleep reading, this is not the right book for your endeavor. If you want to go back in time and invest in Microsoft but are limited by physics, this is your next best option.

cmdodd11: I would rate this book as a solid 4 or 5, with the sole asterisk being to know what you are getting into. This is an incredibly conversational and personal book from someone who, while claiming to have read a great deal on his own, is not exactly selling a system and does not claim to have any certified or official education.
He first talks about just fundamentals and his go at that, but he says that even a stock that looks great from that standpoint can fall immediately and irreparably, as many of us have no doubt found to be the case. He then talks about technical analysis, combining price momentum and irregular volume, similar to those such as Mark Minervini and William O'Neil. Also similar to them is the fact that he clings to stop-losses to force him to sell; unlike them, he often keeps these stop-losses tighter than 8%, but then at other times can give over 10%, depending on the stock. Like them, he also tries to identify buy-points, but it sounds less like he believes it's an iron-clad "this is the exact buy-point" system. Instead he talks about boxes, which sound like small troughs or even bases within a tight range of between 5 and 15%. Also, similar to at least...

Kindle Customer: I have a very special place in my heart for any book with "million" in its title. Perhaps this sum speaks to the greedy little capitalist in me. At the same time, my higher brain functions always kick in, and always being skeptical and somewhat leery of such tomes, I have to ask aloud, "OK, where's the gank (scam) here?"
As it turns out, there is no catch, no scam in Darvas's delightful and entertaining little book on how he, by himself, stumbled upon an oft-tried (and somewhat true) trading strategy through admittedly much trial and much more error. Nowadays, I believe those in the know refer to it as momentum investing, but Darvas is arguably the first person who put the basic method on paper for the lay person to follow. Since he first published his book, there have been many imitators and would-be pretenders to the throne, such as Get Your Share: A Guide to Striking It Rich in the Stock Market , but none of these challengers has written a book as entertaining, accessible and straight-forward as this one.
Withhout giving too much away, the book presents a method that pursues capital gain and relies heavily on the use of automatic buy and sell orders as a...
