Douglas E. Langston: Wow! What a great blueprint for taking charge of your life by setting and working toward your defined goals!! I have heard it said that “…we all have the same 24 hours each day…” What we do with/accomplish that time is up to us!! This book lays out an easy-to-follow path to organizing and taking charge of your (my) life! I have Known Jos since 1990 and watched as he developed this in his own life as he juggled growing his business and juggling all the responsibilities of a family. With all that, he still had the time and energy to be actively involved in sponsoring and growing community activities, particularly youth sports! If you really want to create your best you and use a proven methodology to do so, this is the book for you!!

Kathy P.: Joe Geizeman’s Book “CREATING the BEST YOU” was an enjoyable read. It kept my interest Page to Page. I like how Joe infused his experiences in his young life and adult life as well as tapping other resources into the read. This helped to clarify and bring prospective to the use of his prioritization quadrant for time management. When Joe broke down behaviors that supported his core values, this really resonated with me. It pulled me into the book more. Behavior is the “trigger” word for me. If I can be disciplined enough to time manage my behaviors through the use of this quadrant or something similar, who knows what Kathy will come about — the best of Kathy “yester” year with the best of Kathy now.
Thank you Joe for writing this book. You show remarkable discipline! I need the discipline to start reading more.

charles c. turner: May sound simplistic but one needs to get organized to get organized--and this just might be the book, and exercises, to get that done. Aligning one's values and goals with what one actually does everyday, every week, every year is no small task and it takes some discipline to carry that off--and follow through. As a retired person, I don't need to focus on my business side as much as I used to but still there are many aspects of one's life that need as much attention--family, health, community engagement, personal enrichment, etc. Jos has put together a comprehensive guide to beginning that process, and attending to the commitment, in a readable, personal and entertaining style. Give it a try! Chuck Turner

William Gibbs: The author has done us all a favor in writing a great guide to mindful living. With personal examples adding to a clear process for organizing our lives, he gives the reader a step by step way to identify our personal values, set goals based on those values and then achieve them. The author pays tribute to people in his own life who influenced him and also to previous authors who impacted his thinking. He uses frequent written exercises to reinforce his guide to “gain clarity” to achieve a fulfilling life. He also shows how his plan for living is not just applicable to our personal lives but also how it positively impacts our business plans and relationships with coworkers.
I personally am retired, and I wish that I had been exposed to his “process” earlier in life. The book is probably most valuable in the arena of creating excellence in business, but I do find the book also speaks to me in planning for and maximizing the final chapter in my life during retirement. I find that his emphasis on identifying personal values in order to make decisions about how I spend my remaining years extremely timely.
The book is a great read for young people starting the...
