Mathieu Tardif: It’s a good book with pertinent content, but it is definitely for young children from 7 to 12.

Maria.K: I thought this would apply for my teen but it did not. it is way too simple made for young kids. My kindle issue had such small print. you may want to get the book instead.

Anjali BPAnjali BP: Kid Start Up is informative, easy to follow and packed with useful info that even adult entrepreneurs can utilize (leveraging social media, the right way to build a site, how to make an effective flyer etc).
The book has a really conversational tone, so kids can actually get through it without dozing off, but the lessons they convey are pretty prophetic for all of us. Here are some examples:
1. Hustle. Stop expecting hand outs. Do the work.
2. Just start. Stop with the 200 page business plans. Get your hands dirty and dive in.
3. Be obsessed with your goals. Casually wanting something isn't enough.
Honestly, a lot of adults I know need to be slapped over the head with this book. Our kids loved it too and have plans to launch their next business.

ItsVM: Bought as a gift for a budding eight year old entrepreneur - he's always trying to hustle someone out of money.
However, (my own fault for not realising the signs on the cover) but this is in dollars and not GBPs so a bit out of touch for the British kids as all references are American.

SmilingEyes: Cute book for kids. Would like to have seen references of where the adults can go to find out about tax implications and more ideas for different age groups. I do think that this will get their brain juices flowing!

Pharlie: More prescriptive than inspirational. Not as many resources as I would have liked creating a business plan and creating a business outside of the ones offered in the book. I wouldn't recommend for teachers.
