Absolutely stunning book. More like a collectable work of art to drink in slowly. Unfortunately the first book arrived with a cracked spine and the second arrived bent. If you're giving as a gift be advised.

I loved this book I recommend any witch who is tired of the same books being regurgitated over and over get this book. There are really great ancestral workings . There are spells and dedications in this book that are just outstanding. The ideas are new and different and I cannot recommend this book enough buy it immediately.

I read the limp dick reviews that were belittle another witch who genuinely wants to liberated all witches, no matter who they are, and yes there are books like this out there. My soul urge wanted to read this book and I consulted with my pendulum (that rejected other self help witchy book especially a well known book that every witch recommend to me since forever) and for my pendulum said yes to this book I didn't hesitated to read the reviews immediately. I quickly look through reviews and some butt hurt reviews, come on we're in 2023, were offended by the word 'bohemian' and 'gypsy' and I was like 'wow, no one didn't look through history and actually go to an encyclopedia to learn were those words originates'. I am not gonna educated here.
I bought the book and I actually read the book. I'm not going to spoil the juicy details and I will said you will enchant this book to be your personal grimoire that will be cherished for years to come, I know I will. As an afro-latina from the Carribeans with dark skinned complexion, I felt drawn to this book than the other self witchy books and to have the only one in print it's crazy to me. This was such a wonderful book! I will cherish it forever and already over here buying my bestie a copy. I’ve always been intimidated by witchcraft even though I’ve felt a calling. This book is perfect for all levels, everyone can take something away from it. As a beginner, this now my roadmap for my future! I feel confident and excited! Everything is laid out so perfectly and is easy to follow. The spells are uncomplicated and powerful. Most importantly, it has helped me find my way back to loving myself again, which I wasn’t even sure was possible at one point. As I've been wandering along my path as a witch, following a long breadcrumbs of books about witchcraft, I happened upon Veronica's book in the local witch-owned apothecary. I picked up Bohemia Magick and leafed through its colorful pages, feeling intrigued and curious. I'd just purchased a few books on green witchcraft, practical alchemy, and some others so I didn't want to buy another book right then. As I read these other books, there was something missing and I didn't feel any of my internal fires ignite. A couple weeks later, I ordered Bohemian Magick and, after I cracked it open for the first time, I knew this was THE book on witchcraft for me. It oozes sensuality and fun. Vulnerability and authenticity. And so much love. Both my inner child and adult-self are tickled pink by the colorful pages, Veronica's writing style, and the many practices and spells she articulates so beautifully. the first thing that comes to my mind while trying to express how i feel about this books is PURE MAGICK!.
it’s not a secret that i’ve been a fan of Veronica Varlow for more than a decade, used to read her blog as a bible since this woman has an enchanting way to express herself and captivate her audience.
when i heard about this book i knew that i has to have it, but things happen and it was until this week that my beloved gifted it to me, BEST PRESENT EVER! (thank you love!)
because you see, if you are into witchcraft or just curious about, if you define yourself as a witch or just a person trying to embrace their own power, this book is a perfect reminder of it. full of magick and secrets, just go through the pages will enchant you, because there’s more than words on it, this book is art in the best way, it’s an expression of Veronica’s soul and lineage.
I cried in some parts, specially in Grandma Helen’s Parlour when she welcomes you because you can feel her presence with you, you can feel Veronica’s presence during all the journey that takes you to read this book.

The moment this book was announced, I began to covet it. Now I have it, my delight is indescribable. I've adored Veronica Varlow for many years and was lucky enough to catch one of her burlesque performances back in 2013. She is a passionate and inspirational witch and whether you're new to the craft or 20+ years deep (like me) there is always something to be learned from her.
Bohemian Magick is more than a spell book. It is a catalyst on paper. It's an introduction to the wild. This gorgeous book was such a gift to me. Veronica inspired me with the story of her life and how she found her wild after a crisis. Bohemian Magick is a celebration of her life, but also of life in general. I read it on New Year's Eve and now feel so excited about 2022 and beyond. In particular, I loved her point that we have to find self-love before we attempt any other kind of spell, and she reminded me how to find it. This is a book for artists, dreamers, lovers, and all of us who are trying to find our place in the world.
