A LadyA Lady: Wow, what a beautiful coloring book! Not to mention the price which is currently only $5.99 (regular $9.99) and one of the best things of all, it was made in the USA.

And although there is a color guide on the inside cover, if you prefer a more individual look you can choose your own or just switch a color out here and there to your liking. There's also a brief "Introduction" as well as "Tips And Techniques" offered to try and aid you in obtaining the best possible outcome in your endeavors.

The pages themselves come on white stock, moderately thick, one sided, and also perforated for easy removal. The lines are a medium gray color and the numbers are VERY faint and small so you may need your glasses if you use them. Some of the details are tiny and intricate too so while you could use markers, I think colored pencils or crayons would be a much better choice.

The finished illustrations are all very vivid and stunning with lots of reds, greens, and other bright colors. This collection includes dozens of beautiful landscapes with bridges, houses, barns, waterways, flowers, trees, fruits, pumpkins, birds, canoes, animals, wells, pumps, wagons, etc...

Astalino: Da meine Malbücherserie leider schon längere Zeit nicht lieferbar war, musste ich mich nach etwas anderem umsehen. Ich habe mich für dieses Malbuch entschieden, da die Malvorlagen sehr schön aussahen. Leider hatte man mir auch auf Anfragen hin, keine Farbpalette der Zahlen schicken können und so musste ich mich überrraschen lassen, was für Farben vorgesehen sind. Mit einer größeren Stiftauswahl ist das kein Problem.
Die Blätter sind heraustrennbar. In der Farbpalette ist auch "Schatten" vorgesehen, für mich was völlig neues. Ist vielleicht Gewöhnungsbedürftig.
Das Papier find ich mega, die Stifte rutschen drüber, sehr toll! Das würde ich mir für meine eigentlichen Bücher wünschen:-) Die Umrandungen sind teilweise dicker, was für Anfänger und zum Verblenden sehr gut ist.

Was mich wirklich stört, sind die vielen Zahlenfehler, die, je mehr man im Buch nach hinten kommt, immer mehr werden, gefühlt. Manchmal stehen keine drin, manchmal völlig andere. Man kann sich nicht drauf verlassen und muss immer in der Vorlage nachsehen, ob das wirklich so sein soll. Wenn man abschalten will, ist dies nervig.

Alles im allen, als Ersatz ein gutes Buch mit...

emy: j'ai pris ce coloriage pour me détendre mais il faut dire que les numéros sont écrits petits , de plus il y a des lettres O qui ne donnent pas la couleur et, de plus, le livre est écrit en anglais , pas facile avec tout ça de bien se concentrer .
sinon de très belles images ( de dessins plutôt ).
