Chelsea CChelsea C: After reading another helpful review, as soon as the book was delivered I discreetly made DIY stickers from some blank labels I had on hand to remove any sign that this is for “little” kids. My son is in 2nd grade so squarely in the target range, but he would not be excited to try this if he thought it was for little kids - he’s a “big kid.” So now our book is for “Awesome” kids and we are excited to try some of these fun and creative prompts. I think this will be a great resource to pull out and easily have my kiddo dive into some handwriting practice through creative and imaginative storytelling. I can’t wait to see what tales he comes up with.

Holly: I request my son to write 3-5 sentence a day.
My 8 year old son has a very hard time thinking of what he is going to write about. This book helps gets rid of that struggling, by helping him brainstorm on what he is going to right about.
I do wish the little characters were in color, but I could see that being treat for children who enjoy coloring them in.

Mik Rittella: My niece and nephew actually boycotted this wonderful book simply because the cover included the words "little kids" on it. The fact that it was designed for children in grades 1-3 did not matter to them in the least. They insisted that they were big kids and it was not for them and they would not do it. I suggested removing the cover, which they thought was a fantastic idea, however, I have yet to entice them to complete a single page. I still have hope though and I am not disappointed with the content of the book itself so I still gave it a good review. I just thought that both the manufacturer and purchasers should be aware of this potential barrier.
