David Wilder: This book is foundational toward understanding the basic Elliot Wave Concepts. Elliot viewed market price action through the prism of expanding and contracting waves alternating in advances and declines. Further, the primary author, Robert Prechter masterfully illustrates Elliott's original work, and at the same time builds upon the next generation of technical analysts expansion of the initial theory.

If you want to grow in mastery of the Elliot Wave principles, read this book at least once year, for a few consecutive years. Certain things will become more clear...as you advance into the future.

TaDa!: If you are interested in Elliott Wave analysis (and I believe you should be), then this is the best source of information you can find. There are a number of online courses/services, which will teach you about EW, and cost a lot of money. Save your money, and buy this book. It will tell you everything they are going to tell you (I guarantee you they read the book, too). Chances are, once you have a good understanding of the material in the book, you are going to have just as much chance of being correct on your counts.
