Amazon Customer: I've purchased 5/6 cookbooks in this series and found all to be very useful. The format is easy to read, the overall quality of the binding, paper, pictures, etc. is very good. They are pricey but I will continue to purchase them. I do find some redundency in the recipes from volume to volume.

Mrs Princess: I would give extra stars if I could. I have purchased every single Bake from Scratch books, I actually look forward to them being released. They feature so many recipes that are easy to follow and perfect for the home baker. I love the photos that accompany the recipes. It always helps me gage what I am baking. There are so many recipes there is something to bake for everyone. The recipes are from issues of the magazine. Which this book make it great to have them all in one place. I highly recommend this baking book. Perfect for yourself or the most perfect gift.

Tea Maven: If not for the index organization, this would be five stars. Own all five BAKE cookbooks...love the recipes, photos, and the fact that most recipes turn out well. The index organization remains the negative issue. Only organizing recipes by title is frustrating when trying to find a recipe and you can’t remember the exact title. Often, can’t recall which BAKE cookbook a recipe is in, nor can I recall the exact title, only a main ingredient...so I waste ten minutes or more, flipping through each cookbook, trying to find the recipe I am after. And it’s not always clear which category a recipe falls in. Quick bread or one layer cake? All I recall is the main ingredient and picture of the baked item-both are made in a loaf pan. Ninety-nine percent of all 300+ cookbooks I own have an index with ingredient-related categories. I’ll keep buying these most likely, but will only give five stars when the index is user friendly.

MitziMitzi: As soon as I received this book, I picked a recipe for which I had all necessary ingredients and made it the same day. Chai Greek Wedding Cookies, page 286. They were delicious!!

I own all the 5 books in this series. They are phenomenal (except BOOK 1 -- which looks splendid but measurements are wrong and it cannot be used [I reviewed that too]).
Judging from this first successful recipe, I am hopeful that this book was edited properly and checked for mistakes.
As an object, it is gorgeous! Photos are beautiful, recipes are interesting and very clearly explained, the range is outstanding (in particular, I love the inclusion of breads!). A must-have.
