Denver Hawkeye: MANY LIVES, MANY MASTERS by Brian Weiss is a fascinating and persuasive introduction to the idea that an individual spirit lives through multiple lives --- but this follow up is even more convincing. This book covers dozens of patients who gave vivid descriptions of previous lives of every imaginable description. I would advise reading the pair of books together. These are short, descriptive reports. Recommended

Jovan: Highly recommended read. Reassuring that the author is a highly qualified medical expert with decades of clinical experience, hugely respected in his field, and trustworthy. So I believe what he has written and that we have lived before as well as there being an afterlife where our departed loved ones are safe and can still communicate with us. I read Dr Weiss' previous book. Both give reassurance and comfort and answer many questions that we may have.

EkamEkam: Though it's a famous book, and I paid 276/- for this. But it's paper and print quality is not upto the price. It's like mass market published book. Stars are just for the content in it and for Dr. Brian Weiss.

gabrielgabriel: The content is right but the printing is bad quality, its difficult to read, seem they used bold letter to print it. They could use much more margin. I don't like the printing quality.

Sherlock: Our subconscious mind speaks the language of symbols, so regardless of whether or not reincarnation is an actual fact, any practices that open a way for communication with the unconscious are potentially healing and life changing and move us closer to being Whole. Psychiatrist Brian Weiss is a pioneer in one of these methods: Past Life Regression Therapy. The goal of this therapy is not to prove that reincarnation exists, which is impossible in most instances anyway. Rather, the aim is to allow the subconscious to manifest in safe ways that facilitate healing and spiritual growth.
This therapy attempts to examine a person's present life and then look back in time for other past life events and issues that are affecting the present life. Dr. Weiss has found this method to be quite effective in dealing with problems that are often intractable and notes that the needed amount of time for psychotherapy is drastically reduced. In many instances, only one therapy session is necessary to resolve the issue, which is in marked contrast to more traditional methods where the patient can spend years in therapy yet still not achieve healing.
In essence, the keynote suggestion Dr....

Julie: As always, Brian's books are great for those who love to read about reincarnation. This one is filled with fun trivia, for example: Galileo died on the day Newton was born (and it was Newton who finished G's work and got the geocentric world view overturned) also, it discusses the Judeo-Christian belief in reincarnation which DID exist in Christianity prior to Constantine and in Judaism prior to the 19th C.
My only question about this book is his thesis which is-- remembering past life traumas heals current problems such as neck pain, back pain etc. He says he doesn't know why this is, but he has found it to be true in his patients. This seemed a weak way to back up your thesis. Plus, I have not found it to be true that one memory of a hanging, say, can immediately remove years of neck pain.
Other than this slight flaw (but its only a flaw if you're concerned with logistics) this book is full of good regression stories. Appendix A tells you how to do your own regressions at home. Appendix B is a reading list if you want more on reincarnation.
Of his 4 books, I'd rank this one last. Many Lives, Many Masters would be first, and the other two, Through Time into Healing and...
