MeeMee: The lip on the side of the table is not very high. So my mom is still able to push things over and off the table. But I’m still using the table because it’s very convenient. Straps and so easy. usually only strap one side. Easy to clean. Now My mom has a table and can eat anywhere I push her in front of the TV or anywhere.

Kindle Customer: I needed this tray since I was in a wheelchair for broken ankles. It really helped me a lot for meals and when I needed to move something through the house. The velcro straps would be hard for some older people to use and I can understand if someone felt "trapped" while in a chair with this tray table. It is a little unwieldy when taking it off but I guess that would be the case with most wheelchair trays. You can't get out of the chair in a hurry if you need to.

June: I bought this tray for my mother's transport chair that I use to push her through stores and the supermarket. (I bought her a used wheelchair so she did not need me to push her. But sadly, she could not figure out the concept of repositioning her hands on the wheels to propel herself forward. Yes. Sad.) Since I cannot push my mother and a supermarket shopping cart at the same time, we were limited to a few lightweight items that my mother could carry on her lap. Now, this tray allows me to put a shopping basket on the tray and load it up with all the heavy items I need to buy! As for value, the tray is valuable enough for me to pay the price. But in general, others may not want to pay much for a piece of plastic and Velcro straps. But, it is sturdy.

HAS: Expensive, but worth it. Bought so that we could take my elderly mother to the restaurant for Christmas lunch, as her wheelchair doesn't fit up to their tables. She sat at the end with her own tabletop: plenty of space at the restaurant table for everyone else, and Mum wasn't worried that she might spill food down her front from a distant table. In fact, she likes her wheelchair table so much that she now uses it daily at home! Slightly awkward to fix on / remove, as the velcro straps have a habit of attaching to her woolly cardigan; but it fixes firmly to her wheelchair, and provides a large, stable, easily cleaned surface. Don't know how we managed without it! My only gripe is that, as it is rigid and doesn't fold up, it is not easy to transport. Even the addition of a carry handle and strap would improve matters ...

Wish2fish: We really like the tray. The only real problem I have with it is the Velcro. After placing the tray on the chair you have to feed it through a plastic clip and then double back over the Velcro to hold. While not an issue for some, it is an issue for the 83 year old care taker (wife) who has vision issues and arthritis. It would be easier just the wrap the Velcro around the chair arm and tray but the Velcro doesn't match up to that. We bought some Velcro that does allow for that.

Olemar: This is to replace the compressed sawdust ones I had been buying multiple times because they 'shrink, warp, and break'. This works well for a standard size chair but a little small for a larger chair, but will work. EASY to clean with water (where the wood ones no so much), so far no staining, the indentation for the cup holder is pop can size, and could use something in it to keep the cup from slipping as for a lot of disabled people it's hard for them if the cup slips around, the velcro is good and enough length to go completely around the armrests. The lip around the tray helps my son a lot due to his vision deficit, items don't just slide off, nice.
