L.D,: The product itself is fine, quality screen mesh as described in other reviews. The problem is the dimensions: Listed as 48" wide, it's not even close. My fireplace is 44" wide, and these two screen sections stretched to their full extent leave small gaps at either side. Instead of resembling a curtain, it looks like someone ordered the wrong size screen. The vertical measurement is fine, 24", as advertised, but the narrow width makes it a real problem for anyone needing the full size, and amounts to false advertising. Now I'll have to decide whether to send it back, order a second set to cover the extra space, or just deal with sparks on the carpet--none of which are good options.

Dee Dee S.: Again, this was a necessity for the unfinished fire place in our home. It was very easy to install once we got the rod kit installed. it does exactly what it says it does and we are happy with the product. It was the easiest part of the whole thing. And my daughter, 8, loved playing with b4 we installed it. Great construction, thanks.
