Carolina Girl: This basket velcroed beneath my chair gives me the extra carrying ability that I need. It's very difficult to try and carry something in your hands or arms when it requires two hands to move the wheelchair forward. This item is perfect under my chair. I had one under my old chair and really missed it when I bought the new chair. I was so excited when I saw it here at Amazon.

Iowa Mama: Extremely useful for us. Preteen needed to use a wheelchair for several weeks and we needed to find a way to carry a textbook or two and a couple of items under the seat where he could reach them. (A backpack on the back of his seat was too heavy and damaging the chair, as well as not easy to reach. )
This isn't perfect, but was strong enough for the job and wasn't too expensive.
Although we were initially sent the wrong item ( a wheelchair cover)- Amazon sorted that out for us right away.

Marci: It saved my life. It came fast. Within days of our trip to Mexico. It has Velcro on every side so you will be able to Velcro it some where on your wheelchair. (Wheelchairs vary greatly). It is strong, my husband HAS to carry his 1 and 1/2 liter bottle of water, his 3 phones and a few other things I had to juggle while trying to push him. I bought it for him, but it's really for me. Super handy. It's strong because we abuse it somewhat so I definitely recommend it.

Kathleen Pfeiffer: We should have purchased this a long time ago. It would have come in handy. I asked my husband's caregiver to install it for me since I had sciatica at the time and it was painful to bend over. Unfortunately, he put it in upside down the first time (:D). Right side up, the thing works remarkably well and can hold a lap blanket, notebook, food items, etc. easily without falling out. Fairly inexpensive compared to others like it.
