A. Tangredi: It's misleading to say it expands four inches. If I took two sheets of paper and glued them together the opening could be separated four inches but it doesn't expand. It's flat. Two pieces of material sewn together, that's it. I added beeswax to the zipper. Not sure but I think it's snagged in one place already. It's certainly not 8x11. It might have been that before it was stitched but it's moreike seven by 10. I was hoping it would hold a very small Totes umbrella but it does not EXPAND four inches. It's mouth opens four inches but the rest of the three sides are sealed shut at a quarter of an inch.

Living with MS: This is the second Pembrook bag I have purchased for my Jazzy Air power chair. I love both bags! This one is specifically for a reacher I purchased to have with me because I’m always dropping stuff. I love that it’s a little bigger so I can throw “extras” in it, like a hairbrush and hand sanitizing wipes.

I like the bag so much that I bought a second bag and attached it to my stairlift at home. Many times I need to take something with me when I go down the stairs to leave, but I need my hands free to safely get on the stairlift and operate it. (Usually my cell phone because I don’t need to take a purse thanks to my Pembrook bags!) I put the item in my bag until I get down the stairs. Perfect!

One of the things I love best about the bags are the zippers. The zipper pull is large and circular so it’s easy to grab, and the zipper can be opened from either side.

The bags seem to be made from quality materials, so I expect them to last for a long time. I’ll update if that ends up not being the case.

Amazon Customer: You could use this for a lot of different things. Its dimensions are pretty much exactly sized forthe arms of wheelchairs, power chairs, or the sides of walkers, but it's basically just a zippered, nylon pouch about the size of a fanny-pack but not as deep front-to-back, with extra long velcro straps for fastening just about anywhere. Expect to trim those to fit, but they're definitely long enough to attach to just about anything (like, at least 18 inches each, if not more). Fits and works well on any side of any arm of pretty much any chair that you could wrap the velcro around, as the description says. The zipper appears to be of good quality, though I haven't tested it by stuffing the bag over-full. And of course, the price is pretty good.

csalgado: I recently became disable and required a wheelchair. Going from being supper independent to semi-independent has been hard, but this allowed me to carry items I would otherwise have to ask other to carry for me (sun glasses, a bottle of water, pen, small note pad, lipstick/chapstick). Al this stuff sound silly, but when you cant walk and aren't carrying a large purse these are small essentials that give you a little comfort. This product fit well on my drive wheelchair, it has an adjustable strap to fit most wheelchairs. I did remove it when going through security check at the airport, but otherwise it doesn't get in the way at all when folding a wheelchair for storage. I was so happy I found this product.
