D.M.G.: For me this was pretty much of a page turner. So much info about these Nazis that I never heard about. How they lived their lives out. Many got away pretty much totally free. Most countries unwilling to track them down and put them on trial.

Karen I: You will.enjoy this well researched and documented book about the Nazi killing regime. The World War II atrocities have been well documented but this is an extremely interesting read on the search and capture for those people who contributed without remorse to the holocaust murders.

Frieda: I've been reading a lot of books recently, both fiction & non-fiction, about the time period of the Holocaust. My first, of course, was decades ago...Anne Frank's Diary. I was near her age when I read it the first time. I read Hiroshima near the same time. Since then, the subject has rarely been far from mind. I chose to read this book because I wanted to find out more about the time after the war ended. I am just old enough to remember hearing about the Nazi Hunting on the TV news, but not old enough to have been interested! Now I'm making up time, I reckon! This book helped me to do this. It is well written, easy to follow & understand. Perhaps partially due to all my previous reading, but by all means not only that! The parts I had difficulty understanding were not due to the writing, but the people being written about. Their way of thinking was so foreign to mine that I simply couldn't grasp some of it! I lived in Germany during the 1980's, & was able to visit Dachau, for which my uncle was part of the liberating troops. I also stayed at Bertchesgaden in what was the "guesthouse" (for lack of a better word) where Hitler's visitors stayed. We toured the tunnels...

irishpropheticart: Another winner in the "Killing" series. See and get frustrated as these creatures from Hell continued to escape justice for their WW2 war crimes. So get caught and I must say you do rejoice a little.Has photos and maps, which come in handy to better move the story along.Excellent read and very fast-a day's worth of reading to finish.

C Wm (Andy) Anderson: Friends of mine know me to be a left-of-center democrat. Definitely not a reliable conservative or republican voter. Thus, they might be surprised at my response to this invaluable educational resource that NEEDS to be used widespread in our educational system.

Just a month ago, Bob Woodward’s book on Trump was released despite a furious Presidential uproar. Now, Bill O’Reilly’s book, released two days ago, focuses attention on the hunt for war criminals following the end of World War 2. Mind you, I, and most of my generation witnessed aspects of the events portrayed in this book, either up close, or from afar. Still, it is an invaluable reminder of what happened after the brutal murders of so many innocent Jewish people and other people due to racial, ethnic and religious hatred and persecution.

I’ve not yet read other O’Reilly books, but will make a point of doing so in the future. Not because I am a political devotee, but because I appreciate his sense of history and style of presentation. I think I would have loved being a student of his, despite our political differences.

BLUSH FACTOR: I came across no profanities. Further, this is a terrific...
