Stinky Greg: In my opinion this is a must read for anyone who loves the United States. It's admirable that Phil is unwavering in his commitment to his Christian faith and beliefs. This book truly points out the systematic lies that have weakened this great country. I found it to be very engaging and informative. It made me take a long assessment of myself.

Amazon customer: Mr Robertson is a real gentleman; he's read the bible, lived a life, speaks some true words of wisdom and provides an objective commentary on the state of America today. As an Englishman Mr Robertson's critique on American society has been mirrored identically in my opinion in England, from the cultural revolution of the sixties to the present day political agenda to remove Christianity from the English (please read the wrath of the awakened Saxon by Rudyard Kipling to see how that agenda will end).
The disc is 5hrs long, I put it in MP3 CD player and listened to Mr Robertson from beginning to end enjoying every word spoken. Thankyou for your industry Mr Robertson you are a beacon of light in dark world.

Mark/Tara Elwood: An excerpt from Phil book:
Over the last fifty years, the American church has been a dismal failure. Instead of trying to carry the truth of the Almighty out to the world, instead of sharing his love, we’ve created comfortable Christian communities where our faith is rarely tested. We gather together in multi-million-dollar facilities with comfortable stadium seating, concert-worthy sound systems, and laser light shows. We create experiences that are supposed to be relevant, rock shows that sound just like the music of the world. And as we’ve retreated to these places, these experiences, we’ve withdrawn from government, allowed our faith to be squeezed out of public schools, let our voices be silenced in the workplace. See? Under pressure of the advancing secular age, we retreated to our church buildings as society around us descended into godless chaos. In this book I’ve outlined the lies the evil one has used to steal, kill, and destroy the soul of America. Of all the lies, perhaps the worst is the one he’s peddled to the church, the one we’ve bought hook, line, and sinker: church is an activity we attend two hours a week, and our faith is to be expressed...

Kenn Caesius: You will read this book repeatedly, though it will not be the same book - this is now the formula Phil Robertson and his ghostwriters use to profit from his fans. It might be profitable but it’s not necessarily “good”. Not that it really matters - Phil’s documented monologues attract people, and even a critic like myself would be a fool to discount them. In another of my random reads, I bought this book when it went on sale for a fraction of the normal price and that is the only way anyone should be reading regardless of audience.
The Theft Of America's Soul is a social commentary book by Phil Robertson focusing on the deterioration of American attributes that faded and how a resurgence can return America to familiarity. Comprised of about 10 chapters - each one listing a particular “lie” - Mr. Robertson discusses and reflects on each with a biographical anecdote that borders on generic biography starting about the 1960s Starting with a provocative “Is God Dead?” chapter heading from the eponymous 1966 Time Magazine article, Mr. Robertson reconciles the answer by recalling an unstable phase of his life where he was more concerned with drinking and hunting...
