Melvin C: Great and informative book by Vincent Everett Ellison about the condition of Black American communities in USA, and the leaders and gatekeepers who control our Black communities. Ellison lay down the foundation of problems in Black America and how wealthy, white liberals have financially fund an agenda thats harms Black Americans since the Civil rights movement. A must read book.

Michael Zavici: I don't usually write reviews but after reading this book I knew it definitely deserved a great review. The author compiled many years of a history lesson in less than 200 pages. This is not taught in any school and definitely should be in every history lesson. I learned more truth about our history in this book than I could of ever expected. I understand that no one likes to be decieved and the truth sometimes hurts but the truthful facts in this book need to be exposed so people get a true understanding of history so they can make future decisions on their own without being swayed by a political party that's not looking out for their best interest anyways.

Gregory L. Robertson: I am a white guy who spent the summer of 89 in inner city Detroit on a cross cultural internship. I lived in an all black neighborhood and could not figure out how conditions could’ve gotten so bad. Fast food restaurants and liquor stores had bullet proof glass that we had to get our orders through with a carousal. Gunshots were heard several nights a week in the neighborhood. Burned-up houses and burned-out people scattered the landscape.
When I got back to seminary for my second year of studies, I compared notes with a fellow seminarian who had gone to an urban area that was primarily white, but the social things I observed were the same he had observed — out of wedlock births, high crime, unemployment, etc.
Then I went to inner city Los Angeles for a one year pastoral internship and the conditions were the same, minus the bullet proof glass. It became clear to me that the commonality was not race. The commonality that was undeniably present was the control of worldview, morality, and social structure by Democrat politicians.

David A. Hall: This book by Vince Everett Ellison was earth shattering (in a good way) and eye opening for me. As a northerner transplanted to Raleigh NC in 1964 from Poughkeepsie NY, an "I've Been Moved" IBM move by my father, who raised us to not judge a book by it's cover...it was very strange to see all the hate and animosity in the south for blacks, and also for northerners. It was debilitating at age 8 to suddenly encounter 'You a Yankee or a Rebel? Oh, you a Yankee I can hear by your accent - (mouthing machine gun), you're dead yankee"!!! I had no idea what was wrong with these people. I lived thru it from 4th grade to 12th and it was mystifying to say the least. Then to find out as a conservative who fought for blacks that 90% vote against their own cause - made no sense to me. Now it does. Everyone should read this but if you're a misplaced Northerner raised to respect all people who was moved down south at an impressionable age - the book is an absolute MUST-READ!
