Jess: This is my primary-use board oil and whetstone lubricant. Does fantastically for both, and at a fantastic price: buying board oil from a grocery or even hardware store usually means I'm getting less than a quarter as much for the price. Instead I have enough to never have to worry from a trusted professional brand. I might recommend buying one of the grocery store bottles, though, just for the bottle itself to transfer this into as needed, since it can be a little unwieldy trying to pour the small amounts needed from a gallon bottle.

greg: It is what it is, mineral oil good stuff. I use it, don’t it eat it, so I can’t rate the flavor. This mineral oil appears to be pure unadulterated and is a decent price.

This was delivered to my door for $22cdn. An excellent value and I would purchase it again in a heartbeat With the price at $22cdn. Simon: I'll start off by saying I have nothing to compare this to, but it seems reasonable. I bought it for my cutting boards and it seems to work fine for that task. I haven't died yet and it's been a few months. My hands are also not so dry after using it.

I also used it as a last resort lubricant for my snow shovel and it worked great there as well.
