Lightweight and compressible,. very comfortable on a hike in the summer on the Wonderland Trail on Mt Rainier. Only nit is that the bag tends to be a bit short, although I bought the long bag (I am 5'10). Also, the zipper tends to end a little high on the bag (probably to aid in thermal quality), so getting out was a little bit harder than some, but really not a big deal at all. I will update once I get in colder weather. Excellent value.

luke: this bag rocks! Have used in ground tent and hammock. I love the foot pocket and center zip. I use this as a top quilt(upside down), dont zip it up or anything, and it works great. Also awesome when used in its intended Mummy style. I also like how the stuff sack is actually big enough and wide enough to easily repack.
The neck baffles are an amazing addition as well, they really seal in the heat.

Amazon Customer: If you are ordering this into Canada. There is a CBSA tariff on these products. To bad out door vitals didn't have a shipping depot in Canada. So CBSA charges 113.22$.
Other than that this is the lightest sleeping bag ever I have owned and I have been hiking back country for over 20 years. I wish out door vitals had a Canadian distributor. Their products are of the highest standard and you won't be unsatisfied.

DG: Very satisfied. Slept out in - 25c, inside an igloo. Aside from slipping off my mat, I slept well and the bag performed perfectly. I wish I bought this years ago. Lots of great features. Plenty of room for a mummy cut. You still want to wear a hat/face covering.
I'm 5'11, 175lbs, cold sleeper, and went for the large.
A little thread came undone rather quickly but I don't think it affects the performance at all. I'd still highly recommend it.

Anna: Ill be quick with my bullet points for the review cuz i know when im looking at them i you always have to wade through a long story about the persons life before you get to the facts haha
-PACKING the size is exactly as advertised, it is super easy to pack back into its bag you don't even need to necessarily fold it a certain way to get it in there just fit right in and as the care instructions stated, just use your body weight to compress it down to the size and yes it is just as big as a Nalgene bottle
-TEMP i got the zero degree one. i am a huge baby when it comes to the cold. we camped for two nights by a river where the temp hit 40 each night and when i was zipped up i was perfect just wearing a tee, leggings, and some socks. no more sleeping in jeans and a hoodie when i camp which is amazing for me!
-the top part actually works nicely as an added pillow area cuz i usually don't have space to carry one on my bike, i stuffed some hoodies in the top and worked perfect for a makeshift pillow.
-NEGATIVE only thing is at night trying to get out i had a little trouble with the zipper and pulling it up all the way, but its nothing i think would negatively effect my...

Tom Musser: Lets start the review with the purchase process. I bought this from Amazon after checking out the Outdoor Vitals web site. I was looking for a zero degree bag that was going to be lite to carry, perform like it should, have good reviews, and not cost me an arm+leg. Right after I purchased this I received an email from the owner of the company telling me they had changed the warranty to be a life time warrant. He also directed me to go to the web site and watch informational videos on the sleeping bag. The key one was on how to pack the sleeping bag and how to really compress it without ripping the straps and compression bag. Nice! The bag can be compressed to a really small size.
Now lets get to the performance of the bag. Once a year a group of friends and I head to the AMC Zealand Hut in the White Mountains of NH usually the 3rd weekend in February. Temps average 20 degrees or colder during the days, much colder at night, and the AMC does NOT heat the sleeping quarters. Two years ago it was 20 degrees in the bunk room, 1 year ago it was 12 degrees in the bunk room. During the past years I backpacked up a 20 degree bag (about the same weight as this zero degree bag) and a...

C. Reinders II: First of all I have to say that I am extremely impressed by the product overall. As a long-time camper/backpacker I have seen what I refer to as the "500" club (those sleeping bags costing $500.00 or more, which are more than you might think). While they are high quality bags, they are well above the price range of your average camper/backpacker.
The folks at Outdoor Vitals have settled that issue with their "500 Beater" as I will now refer to it. The workmanship and quality are outstanding, the down fill is as good (or better) a quality I have ever seen, and it just plain works! So, those of you out there wishing you could afford one of the "500" club bags, now you can, without paying anywhere near the price. Thank you, thank you, thank you Outdoor Vitals!
Some specifics - the back is roomier than it first appears. I am 5' 9", broad shouldered and 190 pounds. The length is more than enough for several more inches without a problem. The zippers are obviously high quality, and work flawlessly (which is more than I can say for some of the "500" club). The foot room is what I like best about this bag. It's a mummy type bag, which means to foot area is smaller, but yet...

Dan: Finally bit the bullet and paid money for a good quality down sleeping bag after a winter backpacking trip where I was on the verge of freezing both nights. This bag is super warm, compact, and lightweight. Typical concerns with down fill and keeping dry. Happy with my purchase and hope to never buy a cold weather sleeping bag ever again.
