Matthew: My monitor that takes VGA is max res 1920x1080. Since the VGA protocol is so old I was worried it wouldn't be able to handle it, but it certainly can, at least through this cable. Picture is perfect, no issues with speed, etc.

Amazon Customer: 1) The connecting cord is thick one, almost double to that of conventional vga cables
2) Connectors are perfect fit (except one screw in my case)
3) It has only one double sized Ferrite core near one end of the cable. The conventional cables usually come with two such Ferrite cores attached to both the end.
4) It started with extreme image smearing to the right end of the screen of my old Dell monitor so I changed the cable with a sub 300/- vga cable purchased online. However, the replacement didn't work so I replaced my monitor with a new Thinkvision 24" model. The problem of smearing reduced but was still there. I was about to change the motherboard suspecting some issues with the video section of the old Intel DG41WV board. Then I came across the product and believe me the picture quality is perfect now at 1920x1080 resolution.
-my point is that if I had ordered the product before replacing the monitor, I could have saved about 14000/- which I have paid for the new monitor and please do not trust cheap imported vga connectors.

Christopher D. Williams: Using this with a M1 Mac Mini and a thunderbolt to vga adapter to drive a second screen (a HP240a - 23" 1080P). Works fantastic. The original VGA cable I was using led to ghosting and blurry text. Swapping it out with this cable cleared everything up. Crystal clear at 1080P.

Mac McAleer: I bought a 5m cable to replace a much shorter one. I am very happy with this product. The delivery was fast and the cable works OK. However, the delivery charge was 50% of the product cost.

There had been some attention paid to the packaging. It arrived in a large bubble wrap envelope and the cable itself was in its own re-sealable plastic bag. There were little plastic covers on each end of the cable to protect the pins. There was also a little card inside the plastic bag from UGreen saying “Thank You for choosing UGREEN” and giving an email address if there were any problems. If you did need to contact them by email, they also ask for the order ID, which you can find in the Amazon emails or via your amazon account.

I was surprised that the cable was black. For some reason I thought it would be white or off-white, even though the picture on amazon is of a black cable. However, I realised that the shorter cable that it replaces was also black. The cable is thicker than the one it replaces; I do not know if that matters.

Most importantly, it works OK.

Frylock: EDIT: I've changed my review from two stars to five. For context, the original review is below. The update is as follows. The seller reached out to me and asked me what they could do. I explained that I wasn't willing to go to any trouble to return the defective product. They said they didn't care. They just wanted to make things right, so they just sent me a new one, no strings attached. Now I have a cord that works, and they were willing to do something that isn't entirely practical from a business standpoint. *That's* some seriously good customer service.

The cable has a loose wire or something such that the screen is yellow. I can manipulate the cord to get a clear connection, but it doesn't last long. I haven't tried to return it, but frankly I'm sick of having to. While it's important for a company to be amenable to returns (and I have no reason to believe they aren't), I'd much prefer not to have to go to the trouble. I don't see why companies can't just get things right the first time. Mistakes always happen, which is why you should have a return policy, but after 48 years of this, I'm no longer willing to purchase from a company who, from the first purchase, sells...
